Wharewaka Escape

Wharewaka Escape is a newly built 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in Taupo’s modern Wharewaka subdivision is designed with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

On the entry level, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and inviting living spaces, a cozy bunk room with 2 sets of single bunks perfect for children, an office space complete with a computer screen, a bathroom with a separate toilet, and a secure double garage – ideal for parking or storing valuables such as motorbikes, kayaks, and jet skis. Upstairs, unwind in one of three comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom features a luxurious super king bed, TV, heat pump/air conditioning, and ensuite. The other two bedrooms offer queen beds, ceiling fans, and lovely partial lake views, as well as a shared bathroom.

The open-plan kitchen has everything you could need for your Taupo adventure, including a butler’s pantry, a beverage station with a beer and wine fridge, and even filtered sparkling water on tap! Enjoy seamless indoor-outdoor flow to the deck where you can fire up the BBQ, relax, and spend quality time with loved ones.

With space for up to 10 guests (maximum 8 adults), this home is perfect for two families vacationing together, a group of friends reconnecting, or even a work stays. The layout accommodates a range of group types comfortably, making it versatile for most occasions.

From summer lake days to winter mountain excursions, there’s something for everyone. Bring your boat or jet ski – the 3 Mile Bay Boat Ramp is only a 2 km drive away – and make the most of Taupo’s beautiful lake. Or, explore the many local hikes and mountain biking trails.

Located just 1.5 km from the Kokomea Village Shopping Centre, you’re within easy reach of a supermarket, cafes, food outlets, a liquor store, gym, and more. And for an exciting day out, Taupo’s vibrant town center is less than 10 minutes away.

House Rules and Information

Parking: Double garage + 3 x off street parking, including boat/trailer parking.

*Security Cameras: There are external cameras set up at the front and rear of the property for security purposes.

Linen included – we are a holiday home management company who use professionally laundered linen & towels.

Cleaning – exit clean included in nightly rate.

STRICTLY no parties, events or loud groups. Neighbours are very close and are to be respected at all times.

Lake Weekend in Taupo

Beautiful house, fully equipped, good location. Awesome for two families, plenty of room to park jetskis in the garage. Had a great weekend out exploring the lake, easy to get to two mile bay boat ramp from the house.
