The hotel cancelled our reservation done 3 months ago, and sent us to other place. They said that they were overbook, but it was not overbook when we made the reservation and they confirmed and charged three months ago. By the time that they cancelled to us, 4 days before the flight, it was impossible to get other reservation in places that we wanted. I will never book this place anymore

Very clean, very spacious apartment with comfortable bedroom and nicely appointed kitchen. Location is very convenient to the Tarragona main rail station (5-7 minute walk). The building is very attractive, situated on a historic square, a 10 minute walk to the beachfront. Staff helpful but occasionally difficult to locate. Breakfast room is extremely pleasant; good breakfast buffet. Neighborhood is unremarkable but safe. Building is well out of the old town, but Tarragona is not large, so it's not a difficult walk to the main sights.

Very spacious, modern, neat, well equipped apartment, not far from the old city center of Tarragona to walk there. The communication was excellent. Parking (against a fee) was available in a garage just around the corner.

Vi havde en lejlighed med stor stue, veludstyret køkken og separat soveværelse. Dejlig med gid plads og højt til loftet. Meget fin rengøring og venlig indcheckning. Vi havde 3 gode og rolige dage i Tarragona, før vi tog tilbage til Barcelona

The place was exactly like the pictures. We loved that it was only a 5 min walk from the train and 5-10 to local sites in town. The place is completely upgraded and modern.

El apartamento está muy bien. Llegamos 15:55 y ya no había nadie en la recepción que decían que cerraba a las 16 así que tuvimos que esperar fuera más de 20 minutos. Pero el resto sin problemas.

Good choice for stay of medium length in Tarragona
Port Plaza Apartments are conveniently located in Tarragona near the train station and beach, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. There is good security with a locked gate and front door, though the area seemed safe. It was nice to have an equipped kitchen. The wifi worked well but was a little slow.

Loved the apartment. Modern, clean, comfortable with excellent location- a definite winner! Initial check in was rough. The young man with first initial ‘R’ who checked us in seemed overwhelmed and was impatient and not very helpful. The other staff member who came on a later day was very helpful and nice.

Great spot for sightseeing
Great spot for sightseeing. Check-in was a bit confusing but we managed to get there before 4pm so saw someone in person. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. Despite being close to train tracks the soundproofing is great so you dont even notice. Would definitely book again.

Super Unterkunft, sehr schön eingerichtet und an super Lage. Negativpunkt: ab 16:00 Uhr ist die Rezeption nicht besetzt, deswegen bei Ankunft nach 16:00 Uhr ein Online Check-In erforderlich. Wir waren am Vortag untewerwegs und mussten uns mit dem Check-In befassen (unterwegs echt nervig, da man auch nicht überall Internet-Empfang hat und das doch etwas Zeit in Anspruch nimmt und das als eher junge Person, die Digitalität gewohnt ist). Aus meiner Sicht, hätte man darauf verzichten können/sollen und das Ganze am Folgetag vor Ort an der Rezeption nachholen können. Ein zweiter kleiner Negativpunkt: Unterkunft neben Schienenverkehr und es fahren leider bis tief in die Nacht Güterzüge und nachts hört man die relativ gut. Ansonsten wirklich top; top Unterkunft, top Internetverbindung, top eingerichtet, sehr freuendlicher und hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, Automat mit Snacks und Getränken zu sehr fairen Preisen und und und. Insgesamt jedem zu empfehlen.

Stayed here for about a week with my husband and daughter (4 year old). The room is spacious, decent and has everything you need but honestly, it needs a good cleaning from top to bottom. Especially by the bed frame all around, and the washroom. The shower drainage needs to be checked as every time we used it the water overflows outside the shower area. The shower has no doors, so every time you use the shower the water goes all over, making it wet and dangerous inside the washroom. I can see why there is mold built up all inside the washroom. There is a lot of shops and a market - within walking distance from the hotel. The beach is also very close by. My daughter really enjoyed the park right across the street and appreciated all the great local eats in this town.

Located very close to the train station and beach. A very well maintained, property with large, modern apartments. Everything worked great, modern kitchens with dishwasher, convection oven and Nespresso coffeemaker. Only concern was housekeeping: stayed for two weeks and only had one day of cleaning. I keep a clean home so not too much of an issue, swapped towels at the front desk and bought my own soap.

Superb modern apartments in classic building.
Excellent experience in a modern, well designed and equipped studio in an 18th Century building on the waterfront in Tarragona. The staff were lovely, communication was good - and has to be (!) as deposits, city taxes etc all have to be organised online in advance. The freight railway line runs very close to the building but the soundproofing is excellent throughout. They are currently installing a breakfast area/co-working space which should be a perfect addition to the property. Pleasant walks along both the interesting maritime docks and the beach within minutes, both lined with seafood restaurants. Tarragona itself is walkable everywhere with stunning Roman remains dotted all over the city. Really recommend a visit and Port Plaza certainly ticked all my boxes!
