The farm is beautiful, with lots of adorable sheep and baby lambs to enjoy. It’s conveniently located close to Taralga township, with cafés, restaurants and pubs nearby, and only a short drive to stunning National Parks including Tarlo, Southern Blue Mountains, Mares Forest, Gurnang and Abercrombie. The cottage was clean, tidy, thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed for our short stay. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable and the pillow was just right!Lynda and her husband were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!
This farmstay has quickly become our family's favourite place to be. This was our second trip here and this little haven did not disappoint. Perfect amalgamation of nature and peaceful life tucked away from the hustle of the city life. Lynda and Paul were the perfect host, very attentive and caring towards our needs, quick to address any issues. The place provides everything you will need for your comfortable stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay here.

We had a great stay here. Easy to find and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very nicely furnished, clean and spacious accommodation.
Very friendly sheep which we loved! And Lynda and Paul were lovely hosts. Would stay again.
A lovely cottage on the edge of town with all the facilities we needed. The kids even got to enjoy feeding the lambs with the owners of the property. Very friendly hosts and excellent communication! Even though our stay was short we loved it!
Very comfortable accommodation, hosts were amazing. Surroundings were beautiful. Love that the sheep/lamb were freely roaming. Weill definitely stay again
A great escape, perfectly located near Taralga and Wombeyan Caves. I stayed with my friend and her 9-year-old daughter, and we all had an amazing time. The sheep were the highlight for her daughter — the hosts were incredibly kind, letting her feed them, and she even learned all their names. When we left, I'm surprised if she’d tried to sneak Sid into the car with us!
Clean, well located, spacious, all the amenities you’ll need, friendly hosts. And loads of sheep plus an atmospheric pair of old railway platforms. What’s not to like?

Fabulous hosts made us feel very welcome to the local area, with great communication. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and loved seeing the photos of the old railway.
Highlight was the sheep and the chance to see and feed some lambs. Will be returning.
Lynda and Paul have an amazing property. They both really look after everything and offer an impeccable service. We both work in the hospitality industry and the friendliness and cleanliness was way and above. Just need to find the time to get back soon.Stunning location and the accommodation was epic!
So close to Taralga village with wonderful hosts. A perfect location at the site on old Taralga Railway terminus. Paul is an informative chap with an extensive knowledge on the now disused Roslyn to Taralga railway branch line. Lynda is the consummate host and the accommodation is exectly what we required for a three night stay. A ten out of ten for all ratings.
Beautiful accommodation and really friendly hosts- having lambs bought to the door so the kids could feed them. Zero signage from the road though so the property is hard to fine and be aware the entire town is a phone reception dead zone (no wifi on the property either)
The self-contained place was incredibly clean, tidy, and cosy—everything was spotless from top to bottom. Hosts Paul and Lynda were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was definitely getting introduced to their flock of sheep! We absolutely loved spending time with them. If you're looking for a peaceful, charming getaway with a touch of sheepish fun, this is the place to be.
So much more than we had hoped for. It’s not a surprise it’s a 10/10 listing. Lynda and Paul have created a beautiful self contained guest house with all amenities carefully considered and curated. My kids (3 & 5) LOVED being surrounded in the country with the sheep and their lambs, with the ability to bottle feed a few of them. They can not stop talking about it. We are looking forward to coming back again. Hop tips; - follow Lynda’s check in directions, not Google maps- minimal shops nearby. Stock up on your essential items prior to arrival (main towns 30 mins away recommended) because once you’re there you won’t want to leave. There is an IGA equivalent in the nearby town though- we were glad to bring farm shoes / gum boots when out venturing the paddocks- If you’re an animal lover, one night probably won’t be enough

Wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Taralga staying at Fleece, Flock & Fibre. Accomodation is very comfortable with large common area including lounge, dining and kitchen plus separate bedroom - as well as outdoor sitting area. Warm and friendly hosts who were happy to share stories and recommend local attractions. Our teenage girls particularly enjoyed feeding the lambs. Love the fact that the property is just up the hill from town, a very short walk but the distance affords privacy, views and rural setting. Highly recommended.

A Delightful Country Escape
We had the pleasure of staying at the Farmstay at Fleece, Flock & Fibre, and it was an unforgettable experience. The historic railway station setting is full of charm, and the country atmosphere is absolutely idyllic.
Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, sharing their knowledge about the property and local area.
The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and stunning views were the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s a fantastic spot to relax, unwind, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the countryside.
We would highly recommend this farmstay to anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway. We’ll certainly be back!
Staying at Lynda and Paul’s property is a unique experience. It goes beyond a very comfortable and clean place to stay with comprehensive facilities, offering an experience of life with a special flock of sheep who happened to be lambing during our visit. Extra special! Other wildlife included echidna and wombats. It is also the site of the old Taralga railway station. Taralga is only 1.5 km away with food options and interesting historical buildings. Lynda and Paul are the perfect hosts, keen to ensure you have a good stay, giving you space but also introducing you to the sheep and answering questions about the railway and local area if you are interested.
We had such a great stay at Lynda and Paul’s sheep farm! Their hospitality was amazing — they made us feel right at home and even took the time to teach us a bit about the sheep and the history of the old railway station, which was really interesting. The accommodation itself was perfect — spacious, super comfortable, and with the most amazing views. It’s also so close to town, which made everything really convenient. Couldn’t have asked for a better farm experience. Highly recommend! 12/10 !!
Really enjoyed my stay. Very clean and modern accommodation on a farm setting. Easy walk to the pub for dinner and hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Thank you for such a brilliant stay at Fleece, Flock & Fibre. The cottage was clean, modern, and the touches like the coffee machine really made the difference. Loved the history of the place, and our two-year-old absolutely loved being able to feed the lambs. Great location, only 30s from the beautiful town of Taralga
