Loved the location--easy access without noise of people or cars. Nice size pool that was clean, had wifi, & was easily accessible. Condo unit is very spacious, full of light, & has great beds. It was tidy when we arrived, but not clean to a "luxury" standard (e.g. ants in kitchen--someone did not close sugar jar properly; damp towels in linen cabinet--smelled like mildew; living room carpet needed thorough vacuum due to pet hair). Antonio, the property manager, was very friendly & accommodating, & the owner appeared to be as well, until she stopped communicating with us on day 4 of our week-long stay. The morning after our arrival, we promptly reported the above mentioned concerns & stated that we were not writing to complain but making her aware so she could address as needed (we had already cleaned kitchen to get rid of ants & rewashed towels). Later that day contacted owner to report master bedroom AC was not working & cable was giving an error code. She responded with reset instructions & when I expressed that still did not work she said she would have Antonio take a look. Antonio made multiple efforts to address the AC issue himself & with repair technicians. Each time, the problem would be fixed for a few hours & then, before evening, it would return to not working properly. On days 3 & 4 repair technicians were in condo working on AC. At end of day 4 we reached out to let owner know that AC still did not work but we would get by without as we didn't want to spend any more of our vacation trying to address something that clearly needed a more thorough fix. At this point the owner stopped communicating. On the morning of our last day, we reached out to confirm check-out expectations as VRBO listing only stated to "leave keys in condo" & we received no response from owner. Antonio did reply to our check-out questions. Upon returning home, we reached out to owner again, asking if she would consider a one day refund due to AC issue & lack of cable--still no response. Note--in our initial communication with owner, we stated that we were not sure if we were to communicate issues to her or directly to Antonio. Since that designation was never addressed, we continued to keep the owner informed throughout our stay. If she would have asked us to communicate directly with Antonio, we would not have messaged her during the trip. Contacted VRBO support--they stated they would send owner an email stating that we are trying to contact her. Still nothing.
