This little home is situated in the woods behind the property owner's home. The home is well stocked and clean. The host was VERY responsive and very easy to work with. We did not use the outdoor amenities during our stay, which simply because we didn't have. Great home, great host, great rental experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house in the woods! The setting was peaceful and secluded, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved sitting out by the fire pit in the evenings, and we even spotted deer wandering through the backyard, which made the experience feel extra special. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature with all the right amenities, this is the place!

A loveky, quiet retreat!

The property is private, inviting, and super relaxing and comfortable inside and out. We were able to enjoy the firepit, use the well-stocked kitchen and grill, and enjoy the quiet. Sturgeon moon was a bonus, as well as morning coffee in the gazebo.WIFi worked, 2 bathrooms a huge plus. The home was as described, photos spit on.We will be back!

Very Nice Getaway

Very nice, the outside cabana and firepit are amazing.There were horseshoes and cornhole availble also. The only few issues with supplies were addressed by the owner and resolved right away.There plenty of activites nearby to keep everyone busy.Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Lovely house

This was our second time staying at this lovely house, and we had another great experience over the July 4th weekend! The home is nice and comfortable, with a big yard that’s perfect for the kids to run around and play. We enjoyed outdoor activities and had a fun BBQ with family and friends. It’s a wonderful place to relax and celebrate the holiday. Highly recommended!

Home away from home

Everything you need to relax with family and friends. Marshmallows at night by the firepit and grilled food every night. Two of us can cook in the nicely equipped kitchen...with spices. We will be back!

Moms trip

We had a great stay at this little hidden get away. The house was super clean, off the road but also secluded and everything was easy to access and the outside area was great and we enjoyed it a lot. Cute little restaurants close by and jim thrope wasnt far for a day trip

The place was okay

The home and grounds have great potential veing a "work in progress". Do not fault the owners for rain but there's no access to the highlighted gazebo and lawn area unless you want to cross a water filled stream. There was a wooden bridge aling the stream but unfortunately it was marked off limits by white flags which were used to limit access to certain areas of the property. The beds were not very comfortable so I slept on a couch and my daughter slept on an extremely firm mattress in the main bedroom. The cleanliness of the home was a big plus.

Blue Sky Mountain Cozy Home

Very nice, a comfortable little home away from people. But close to anything we needed.Easy to access for all the things we wanted to do in the area.It was an excellent choice for our trip.

Great getaway

Cute cottage with some nice outdoor space that we took full advantage of with the firepit and horseshoes. We had plenty of room inside and liked the front porch space. Close to Tamaqua and Jim Thorpe. Owner was quick to answer questions. Would recommend!

Weekend away

The house a perfect weekend getaway home. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Perfect location to the coal mine museum and mine tour and the town of Jim Thorpe. The only negative thing was the main bedroom mattress was very hard and uncomfortable but overall a great stay.

Finally

We've take yearly trips to Tamaqua to visit family and always need to stay out of town. We finally now have a place to stay that is in town, clean, cozy, safe, and family friendly. Highly recommend staying here! Host was very responsive anytime we had any questions.

Great Stay with Easy Access to Jim Thorpe

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Leona's home while visiting Jim Thorpe with friends! The location was perfect—just off a main road for easy access to nearby towns, yet nestled in a peaceful, wooded setting with stunning views of the night sky.The home was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked for hosting a group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a gathering of five or more, including a variety of sheet pans, pots, bowls, a knife block, and even an immersion blender.Although the windy weather kept us from building a traditional fire, we appreciated having the gas fire pit, which made it easy to roast s’mores and enjoy the evening outdoors.Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Lovely weekend

My girlfriends and I stayed for the weekend. The host was very accommodating. The property was nice and the home was cozy. We do suggest a humidifier as it was very dry. Otherwise it was a great way to spend the weekend! We enjoyed our stay! Thank you for having us!!!

I came to have a relaxed and quiet time and that's what I have. The property was clean and super neat. Communication with Leona was super easy. Also, you have other great places only about 20 minutes away (Jim Thorpe, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Appalachian Trail). I,definitely, would stay again at this place!
