Sleek and modern hotel. Focus is on sustainability so not a whole lot of extras- but it has everything you NEED. Clean rooms, minimal housekeeping, basic amenities, common kitchen and self-service laundry (10 euros for wash and 10 Euros for the dryer). No coffee in the room, but common kitchen has it for a fee. Location cannot be beat - accessible to Old Town. Very close to the port. Many cafes and restaurants nearby with discounts for guests staying at Citybox.

The location is perfect - steps away from my favourite breakfast spot, La Boulangerie, 10-15 minutes of enjoyable walk to the Old Town Square, 3 minutes to public transit, 5 minutes to the ferry terminal. Room was clean, I had everything I needed. I wish there was more natural light, though, maybe larger rooms are better (I was travelling solo and booked a single room). The check-in/check-out is self serve, which is very convenient, however, no staff to be seen anywhere gives a bit of an eerie feel

Nice staff, clean and tidy room, easy check-in and checkout by self service. Laundry provided is good, but the service time should be extended to facilitate visitor's needs, say from 7am to 11pm, as visitors may join day tours and leave hotel early and return to the hotel late
