"My Japanese friend who lives in Kobe recommended this hotel and I am so happy to have followed her advice. The views of the Akashi Kaikyo bridge from the room (and the spacious bathroom) were stunning, especially at night when the bridge was illuminated. We had a corner room with a bathroom, in which a bathtub was on an elevated platform with a floor-to-ceiling panoramic view of both the bay and the bridge. The room was very quiet and spacious; the beds were comfortable. My sister and I really enjoyed a buffet breakfast at the hotel, and our visit to Arisugawa - a Japanese restaurant on premises, was memorable. We are already planning our return to Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe and next time, we will stay for longer. The hotel has a spa, which we did not have the time to enjoy on our most recent trip, and the area itself has so much to offer for pleasant walks on the promenade, in the park, and on the beach.  "

"Delicious buffet breakfast with both Japanese & Western options. Onsen was fantastic. Room was small but enough for the two of us and our luggage. Staff were very helpful. Luggage storage available after checkout - definitely recommend this hotel! "

"Our room 806 had a strong sewage smell. Coming from the bathroom. We advised the staff and all they did was to put a refreshener and that did not last.The smell persisted. The bed linen did not fit the mattress, so the sheets would not stay on the mattress. Breakfast average, coffee was good."

"Hotel is a short 5 minutes walk from the train station and property looks pretty new. The room is quite roomy compared to alot of other hotels I’ve stayed in Japan; even after I have opened my small and mid-sized luggage, there’s still room to walk around. Bed was comfy and they provided a firm and a soft pillow for your preference 👍 and there’s a Lawson just across the road. Convenient! would stay here again if I ever come back to Himeji "
