  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

The hotel is very central, staff were super-friendly and courteous, room was very large, clean and comfortable, good beds. Breakfast was varied . Hotel has recently renovated but the age still shows in the elevator.. Recommend this hotel.

Very accommodating hotel in prime location as far as transportation is concern. Hospitality system also well designed with flawless shift to shift communication. The carpet is a little dated, other wise it will feel like a five star luxurious hotel. All in, good stay. A place that I will come back to stay if looking for a hotel in the area.

Room is clean but carpet is very old throughout the hotel. Toilet flush is weak, we had experience with the toilet clogged. Staffs are nice and she came right away to fix the toilet issue. Beds are rocking hard not comfortable. Breakfast and dining are okay.

The Green World Grand staff was great! There was always someone at the front desk to help with WiFi, sightseeing ideas, storing luggage, finding the subway, etc. Also, the front desk always had an English speaking staff member. The buffet style breakfast was very good. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed’s mattress and comforter were very comfortable. A great value for the price!

The location is great! Room was clean! The only downsize was that our sing got clogged very easily. The water didnt drain fast enough. But coverall everything was great!
