We absolutely loved this condo. It's up high on a hill and feels far from everything, but it's really only about 5 minutes to Safeway, restaurants, activities, and best of all -- the lake! It has 2 pools and hot tubs, but only one pool/hot tub was functional while we were there (early fall). There are also hiking trails you can hop on without driving.
The unit itself was huge. We never even opened one bedroom. There's multiple balconies and lots of space to relax, and if you have a large group it would be easy to find a peaceful place to yourself. The beds were very comfortable, and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but it is oddly small compared to the rest of the place. Also, there's no coffee (coffee maker, filters, etc. but no coffee).
Our only complaint is we arrived in pitch darkness (8pm in the fall, air filled with smoke). There isn't a single light in the entire neighborhood. We spent at least an hour trying to find the unit. We had to jump out of the car and go up to the door to see the unit numbers. They weren't in a clear order and because it was so dark, we couldn't even see side streets. It was getting scary and we didn't know who to call. Management should provide a map to find the unit because we realized in the morning how steep the road is and how dangerous it actually could have been. Note also many units have bear protection on their steps and doors, and these wouldn't have been fun to find accidentally.
