What We Love

Surry Hills Haven is a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a boutique block on the city fringe in Surry Hills, Sydney, about a 7 minute walk from Central Station. It sleeps up to 6 guests across a queen bedroom with ensuite, a twin room with two single beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge, with a private courtyard, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and fast wifi.

It suits families and groups of friends wanting a central base close to the city, corporate guests needing quick train access to the CBD and the airport, students and visitors to UTS and the University of Sydney, and longer stays, with a full kitchen, dishwasher and laundry.

Living & Kitchen
The stylishly furnished apartment has an open plan design, with timber floorboards flowing through the living areas. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, and the dining area seats the group for meals at home. The lounge has a TV with cable and Netflix, and a double sofa bed for extra guests. At the end of the day, unwind outdoors in the private courtyard.

Sleep & Bathrooms
The main bedroom has a queen bed and its own ensuite with shower. The second bedroom has two single beds, ideal for children or friends. A second bathroom with shower serves the rest of the apartment. The washer and dryer make longer stays easy.

- Dining: Surry Hills is one of Sydney's best dining neighbourhoods. Nomad is known for its wood-fired, Middle Eastern-inspired menu, Chin Chin serves vibrant Southeast Asian share plates, and Crown Street and Bourke Street are lined with cafés, wine bars and restaurants.
- Cafés & Shopping: Bourke Street Bakery is a local favourite for pastries and coffee, and the laneways around Crown Street are full of independent boutiques, grocers and galleries.
- City & Beyond: Central Station connects you to the CBD, the airport and the rest of Sydney in minutes, and Chinatown, Darling Harbour and ICC Sydney are an easy walk away.

Central Station is a short walk away for trains and buses across Sydney, including direct trains to the airport, and Uber and GoGet car share are readily available.

Home Truths

- There is no air conditioning. Portable fans are provided, and heating is available for cooler months.
- There are no black-out blinds in the lounge, so guests using the sofa bed may find it light in the mornings.
- This is an older building, so you may hear your neighbours at times.
- There is no on-site parking. Free street parking nearby is limited to 1 hour.
- This is a smoke-free property, and pets are not permitted.
