What We Love

Saltwater Bondi One is a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment in a 1930s building in South Bondi, Sydney, about a 5 minute walk from Bondi Icebergs and the start of the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, and about 7 minutes from the sand. It sleeps up to 4 guests in a queen bedroom and a double bedroom, with reverse-cycle air conditioning in the living area, a full kitchen with dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. Street parking only. Rated 5 stars by past guests.

It suits couples, friends travelling together, corporate guests wanting a beachside base with wifi and a laptop-friendly workspace, and longer stays, with a full kitchen and laundry.

Living & Kitchen
Inside, modern, contemporary décor is warmed by natural textures and coastal tones. The living area has reverse-cycle air conditioning and a TV, and the full kitchen has an oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, blender and rice cooker, plus cooking basics and wine glasses. A dining table makes for easy meals at home after a day at the beach.

Sleep & Bathroom
The two bedrooms have a queen bed and a double bed, with black-out blinds and portable heaters for cooler nights. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer supplied. A washer and dryer make longer stays easy.

- Bondi Icebergs: An international landmark and the home of winter swimming since 1929, the famous ocean pool is open to visitors year-round, with a sauna for after your laps. Above the pool, the clubhouse has sweeping views over the pool and Bondi Beach for a drink or a meal.
- Beaches & Coastal Walks: Bondi Beach is a short stroll away for surfing and sunbathing, and the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk starts right by Icebergs, winding past Marks Park, Tamarama and Bronte. Each spring, Sculpture by the Sea lines the clifftops between Bondi and Tamarama, just around the corner.
- Dining: Totti's on Bondi Road serves simple, generous Italian favourites, and Carbon brings charcoal-smoked Mexican dishes and a bottomless brunch. For an evening cocktail, La Palma Cocktail Bar pairs creative drinks with a relaxed bohemian setting.

- The sofa cover is now dark grey rather than the oatmeal shown in the photos.
- There is no on-site parking. Street parking nearby is time restricted during the day.
- There is one bathroom for up to 4 guests.
- This is a smoke-free property, and pets are not permitted.
