Welcome to our large, inviting home, nestled less than 10 minutes from the stunning Oxwich beach, known for its gently sloping sands and picturesque dunes, our home is also an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Gower Peninsula.
From open moorland to breathtaking cliff tops, you’ll find incredible beaches (Several local beaches are perfect for surfing, including Llangennith and Rhossili as some of the favourites!), ancient settlements, and one of the few salt marshes in the UK close by.
With local amenities nearby—including a shop, cafés, water sports, and even a Michelin-starred restaurant—this is the perfect destination for families or groups seeking a memorable seaside escape. Sleeping up to 9 guests, including a ground floor room with an accessible bed and wet room, our home strikes the perfect balance between space and comfort.
The Space
Even though our home is very spacious, it has a cosy feel that will make you feel right at home, whether there are 2 or 9 of you. The property underwent extensive modernisation in 2021, ensuring a fresh and contemporary environment.
Our generously sized dining table comfortably seats 10, perfect for family meals or gatherings. For those with mobility concerns, we’re pleased to offer a ground floor bedroom with an electrically adjustable bed, adjacent to an accessible wet room, making the space enjoyable for all guests. With 4 bathrooms available, mornings will be hassle-free—plus, there’s an external dog shower for rinsing off sandy feet or wetsuits!
Outside and Leisure Facilities
Enjoy a secure rear garden with ample seating and loungers (please note: there is no parasol or barbecue, so do bring your own). The cottage boasts a large lounge and a snug area, each featuring 55’’ televisions. Additionally, every bedroom has its own TV, ensuring everyone stays entertained.
For rainy days or family fun, take advantage of our newly added games room, complete with an arcade machine and a multi-games table featuring air hockey, pool, and table football.
Parking and Accessibility
Parking is available for up to 4 cars, including space for transit vans if needed. Our cottage truly has something for everyone, no matter the weather. Please keep in mind that, as Oxwich is a remote area, getting tradespeople in quickly can take time if issues arise.
Guest Access You’ll have full access to 5 bedrooms (including one accessible room), 4 bathrooms (one accessible), kitchen, utility room, living room, dining room, snug, garden, and patio area. Stay connected with superfast broadband throughout and enjoy entertainment with Sky TV and Netflix. The hand-built kitchen features a large range cooker, perfect for home-cooked meals, and with several high-quality dining options within walking distance, there are plenty of culinary delights to explore nearby.
