"This was an enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, lovely and clean with a very large room. If I had any criticism, it would be a very minor one, where the towel holder and toilet roll holder was loose. But that’s taking nothing away from a lovely place to stay."

"Check in takes a ridiculously long time (over 25mins for 3 people), ask for ID unnecessarily, room was not cleaned to a decent standard, stagnant water left in kettle and coffee machine and someone’s clothes left in wardrobe. Bathroom was covered in paint and grout from some recent work and everything looked a bodge job from shower to toilet flush and taps. Only redeeming feature was size of room and bed was comfortable. Be aware bar opposite plays very loud music from early evening through to early hours."

"Good location for onward travel and at one time I’m sure a nice building but it’s in serious need of an upgrade and decor is still out of the 1980’s….i can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with a shower curtain! Overall not a great property and could be so much better with some investment."

"Stayed here on a number of occasions. Always find the mattress too hard and the pillows too soft and the road noise a little distracting. Amenities are good, overall general aesthetics are good and clean but notice some areas need more focus on cleaning and maintenance throughout the property. Food, drink and staff assistance are excellent."

"The building is a bit dated and has been renovated to include rooms with private bathrooms. For the price it was adequate but the room needed a very thorough clean as it may not have been used for some time and there was a significant amount of dust in the corners. Overall, for the 2 night stay and the price it was ideal for our needs."
