「The cabin was clean and neat. It does need some updating. It is under new ownership and they are hoping to do that. Beds were comfortable. We only stayed overnight so it was fine for our needs . It was easy to reach owners by text with any questions we had and they were very prompt in returning texts . They were pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay

「This was a great place to stay in Lake Placid that was in the ideal location--away from the business of the downtown area, but close enough to walk to the downtown area, and it is a scenic walk around the lake. Staying here gives you the feel of staying in a mountain lodge. There was plenty of room for 5 people, and the house was well-attended with all the amenities we needed. 「The hosts were wonderful and helped us out when we had trouble getting our car up the snowy Lake Placid hills (word of note, compact cars may not make it up the hills in winter). The place was super cute and clean, very quiet which we loved. When you open the shades the mountains are in clear view. We also didn't have any trouble walking to Main St to the stores, restaurants, and Olympic skating arena and museum. Great location!」
