Location is great! Shuttles are convenient. Unit is very dark inside. Appeared to currently be Renovating so cheap temporary shower curtains in place, hopefully updating countertops to match the rest of the updated tile. Remote to tv doesn’t work well.

Great location

Condo had a great floor plan ! Was very quiet and short walk to gondola area (summer)Kitchen had plenty of items to work well.We would prefer keyless entry vs FOBs only for family sharing.

Nice location and amenities

The property was really nice and the location and shuttle services to the mountain made it very easy. The only real challenge was the poor WiFi. It wasn’t nearly fast enough for TV/movie streaming without breaking up. Apparently there was Xfinity cable/satellite (?), but I couldn’t figure out how to work the 4 seemingly redundant remote controls. It would also be nice to have some basic condiments like salt and pepper, but that’s more not-picky.

Beautiful

This condo was perfect for our family. All 10 of us fit on the couch together! Being on the first floor was great, the patio was a nice hangout spot for the kids.

Great stay in Steamboat Springs

We really loved our first trip to Steamboat Springs. My husband and I traveled with our toddler daughter and our two sisters, my mother and our 12 year old godson. We all stayed at this property. In terms of the positives, the home had plenty of space for us. The host gives plenty of extra shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. Sometimes with rentals they only give you enough of those types of basics for a day or two, so this was nice. Property was in a nice location; it was clean and quiet and comfortable. In terms of negatives, the VRBO listing mentioned air conditioning which this home doesn’t technically have. The unit did have a swamp cooler that kept us cool even when the temperature outside was 85 degrees. The other frustrating part was the check in process. This may have been my own confusion, but I was under the impression we were to get our key at a lock box at the home but it was at an off site office. This lead to a lot of confusion after a long day of travel and no one could be reached to quickly help. I’m sure I misunderstood the instructions, but it was frustrating. Overall I would recommend a stay at this property.

Great condo

Enjoyed our stay, clean, great location and pool was super. Plenty of towels, cookware, pool towels were helpful! There were a few things that needed addressed; battery in fan remote, shower leaking in floor, shower not working in 3rd bathroom and screen was missing on one window. All those were being fixed. The main complaint was it was listed as having air conditioning. It is a swamp cooler that is building controlled not unit controlled. Without a screen on one bedroom window that limited the ability to get air circulating in that room. Would stay here again for one level access with all fixed. May avoid though the hottest months without air.

Nice enough, but had some issues…

Our biggest issue is the listing on VRBO says it has Air Conditioning, which is misleading… it has a system that allows it to maintain about 75 degrees in the condo in the Summer, it’s not air conditioning by any standard. The supposed air conditioning was the main reason we chose this condo, so getting there to find out it wasn’t was a disappointment. Everything else was fine except for a shower door that wouldn’t stay shut on its own (magnet broken off) and a broken shower handle in another bathroom. Other than that, the place was fine…

Family Getaway

We had a great stay! Condo was exactly as described, conveniently located and had all amenities needed. Retreatia was very responsive the two times we needed to contact them. We will be back!

Family getaway

Nice place overall, but 4th bedroom is misrepresented. It is actually a study converted to a bedroom. Very tight quarters (no room for a suitcase) and no ceiling fan or window so tends to get too warm.

5 Star vacation / 4 Star rental

We just returned from an 8 night stay in beautiful Steamboat Springs. The property at Trappers Crossing was really nice, but a little worn...Bathroom shower door handle was broken, living room couches were a little beat up and the air conditioning unit did not cool the unit which would have been nice the sunny August days. We ended up keeping 2 of our 4 bedroom blinds closed during the day time as a work around. We did call Retreatia (Management company), but they were not super helpful. They send someone over to try to fix the AC, but the unit never cooled below 75 degrees during the daytime. It was good incentive to get up and out to explore which we did a lot of. We also had a key card problem on day two and instead of dealing with Retratia we decide to go to the Trapper's Lodge office who were onsite and very accommodating for a quick fix.It was great to be in the mountains during the summer and we took full advantage of the pool, hot tubs, gym and town. The unit itself was in a great location about 5-10 minutes outside of town and it is also tucked away into a quaint little ski village where there were stores and restaurants within walking distance. Morning coffee runs and late lunches / early dinners were nice to have so close by. We had great meals at Laundry, Salt and Lime, Table 79 and The Egg. Amazing day of horseback riding at Saddleback Ranch (a must!). Great hot springs at Strawberry Hot Springs and supper exciting UTVing at Winter Park. Great family trip!

Beautiful home wonderful location

The house was clean, spacious and perfect for families. We loved being on the first floor, our kids were able to pop out to get out some energy and with the beautiful large windows, we could easily see them. Only thing we wish we would have known is that it isn’t stocked with anything- no hand soap, coffee filters, foil, wrap, salt/pepper, etc., so if you plan on cooking at home, add all basic necessities to list.

Perfect stay for a weekend getaway

This condo was perfect for my girls weekend! The condo is huge and had plenty of space for all of us girls to spread out. The pool and hot tub were clean and such a refreshing treat after a long hike. The location was a short walk to the ski slopes and shuttle to downtown. there is only one garage parking spot but there is additional parking just to the west of the condo so everyone had somewhere to park. I highly recommend this condo if you have a large group looking to escape to the mountains for a few days.

Steamboat Condo

Great location! The property was very clean, and they were plenty of towels, as well as dinnerware and utensils. The hot tubs were easily accessible and warm. The condo was perfect for three couples and a couple of children. They were plenty of towels for everyone. If I had to make a recommendation it would be to include air conditioning, not only during summer months. It got rather warm, other than that minor detail; Everything was great!

Spring break 2023

Condo is as described online. Kids loved being able to walk out the living room door and play in the snow and come back in to warm up by the fire. Hot tub was a nice touch in the evenings located just a few feet from the condo. Condo supplied shuttle service is top notch- minimal waits for rides anywhere around town. Shuttle also runs to and from the gondola frequently, never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes.

Condo close to the slopes

This condo was within walking distance of the slopes. The landscaping was nicely decorated for Christmas. It would have been a nice bonus if our condo had had a Christmas tree, but, nevertheless, we made it festive.
