"The building is definitely showing some wear and tear. The rooms, however, are quite spacious, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water. The hotel's close proximity to Duke Hospital was a definite plus for us. Additionally, the hotel's close proximity to I-85 and other Durham freeways made it easy to quickly be at any of many restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls."

"Clean room, helpful staff. No issue with stay. However room design is strange as the lavatory/sink is right by the door making it awkward to answer the door or leave if someone was using the sink/mirror. That is a design flaw and not the fault of the staff. "

"The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable and relaxing! I loved the kitchen and how well it was equipped with everything you would need and the deck over looking the beautiful pond with the porch swing which was my FAVORITE part! I LOVED sitting on"

"Our group of eight really enjoyed our time at this house. There was so much room to do so many fun things. There were game tables and plenty of outdoor seating for enjoying the various decks and pool area. The pool was kept in excellent condition for our entire stay, which included a few visits by the pool maintenance person keeping the chemicals in balance and the floor vacuumed. We were very impressed. You couldn’t see any other houses from the property which made it feel extra special like a relaxing getaway."

Great location, good neighborhood, looked safe and surrounding properties were also new and well kept. Beds and other furniture were comfortable. I would recommend this property, especially since the owner was such a pleasure and so willing to meet our specific needs."

"house has nice open space , excellent kitchen space as well. I have given owner some suggestions on improvements with regards to supplies and some better instructions . Overall an excellent place to stay and would not hesitate to stay again if in Durham again"
