The room was beautiful. The staff was helpful and friendly. There just wasn’t any adventures to be had. The meals were pretty expensive and the restaurant was the only show in town. The taxis were okay but again very expensive is $30 round trip per person. A cruise would have been better.

Staff at the cafe and restaurant could have been more courteous and understanding. Rooms were in good condition. Compared to other branches this resort has, food was a problem. They should add their own breakfast at least.

All the staff was great I have an amazing experience here. I’ll definitely go back only problem I had is that no one is there to clean the room and a daily basis other than that it’s extremely gorgeous. I love it here and I’ll definitely come back to this wonderful environment cheers.

I had high expectations for Margaritaville. Upon checkin, I found out that it is a time share when I was immediately hit up for a meeting to discuss "joining the club". No big deal, I said no. I went to the pool and could not charge food or drinks to my room since the bar and restaurant are not affiliated with the property. Interesting, but okay. Day two, returned from the beach and the room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and was told that they do not clean the rooms unless you stay for at least 7 days. they told me they would clean the room once, but if I wanted it cleaned again, they would charge me $135. They did in fact clean the room, but forgot to replace the bedding for the pull out couch for the kids. I called at noon to let them know and when we returned from dinner later that day, they still hadn't brought the bedding. After a few additional calls, the last of which I was hung up on, I walked down to the front desk and was met with the manager, who was carrying the bedding up to me. There were quite a few staff members that were great, but quite a few who were just sitting around on their phones and not helpful or friendly at all. A few other things, we were at the pool, at 10am one day and they had already run out of towels, I went to watch a football game down at the bar on Sunday afternoon but the TVs did not work, the beach has no shore to even put a chair on. The water was also very disappointing, don't go here!

We had a great time at Margaritaville! Couple things you should know: The beach at the resort is unusable due to the seaweed problem. The food is inconsistent-overall good but seems to depend on who is cooking. A lot of guests complained but our overall experience with the food was good. Need cash to tip your resort cart drivers Our bed wasn’t very comfortable-suggest the resort adds mattress toppers to increase comfort

Very nice facility. The rooms were nice, and clean. I didn’t find the hills to the upper pool or rooms difficult to navigate at all. In fact, it was nice addition to my daily workout. I wasn’t ready to pay a $250 deposit per room after I had prepaid my stay. Parking was very limited. One day a staffer double parked in front of me causing be a serious delay in getting to my pre planned activity. The ladies at the hear rental were phenomenal! They were very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the islands — knowing the best restaurants and locations to enjoy our time there. We also had one morning where our door decided to cease working. The maintenance guys were helpful and worked hard to fix it promptly. It only caused us to lose a morning of activities. The food was ok, but forced us to try the local establishments…which was great. The four star rating is based on the parking, unknown deposit, and ok food (not great).

Pros: The pools are great. Excellent location: close to Coki and Sapphire beaches and Red Hook. On-site restaurant Clean rooms. AC worked VERY well in our room. Cons: Unusable beach The restaurant is probably a 3/5. A few dishes were better than most. The key lime pie was a 9/10! Coconut shrimp also good. Higher up buildings require a golf cart ride up the hill or a tiring trip up all 3 levels of stairs, which is probably the equivalent of 10 flights of normal house stairs. If we could change anything about our trip, we would get groceries for breakfast and lunch and request a lower building (below 12). We didn’t smell the seaweed at all during our December stay.

The staff were very inviting and helpful. The entire resort was maintained. They offered activities every day. They helped plan excursion we were interested in. The beach wasnt the best compared to others however it was a still nice. Dining with a waterfront view and live music made up for it. Would recommend and plan on going back next year!

Property was amazing, front staff were great! The staff providing rides to rooms however often only provided golf rides to same people and didn’t bother asking others. Pool staff were rude and not helpful at all.

The rooms were newer and the grounds throughout the resort were very well kept, clean, and beautiful. My family and I went during the algae season and the staff ensured everything was still clean. The team inside the lobby and in charge of activities were amazing and took total care of us. Johnny and the concierge team were the best! The reason for the 4-star review is due to the actual Margaritaville restaurant. The serving staff were very unapproachable, and seemed to be upset every day while doing their jobs. The food sometimes took close to an hour to come out even for something simple as fries or wings. We ended up just eating somewhere else after a few days because we did not feel welcomed by the serving staff.

The Margaritaville staff were very helpful and courteous. The biggest negative is anything having to do with the sales pitch for the resort. From the time we checked in we were told we had to see the concierge to get the wristbands for our room. We were “herded” through and told tos att nd a 90 minute presentation in or see to receive discounts on excursions etc. We went to the sale meeting ( arrived early and were first there for 12 pm appt) we were last ones taken back and separated from our adult son for presentation. The was not a 90 minute video but a 2.5 hour sales pitch. When we explained to Marie why this would not work for my husband and I she went to get mookie (I think that was his name) he was rude, asking us in an accusatory tone if we weren’t told that this was a sales presentation, we knew that it was but just because you pitch doesn’t mean we are buying. We were also told that we would receive 3 days and 2 nights free (not sure when we find out about that). I doubt I would stay at a Wyndham resort knowing that I had to go through this again. I talked to some other people at the resort and they had similar experience. Wasted 2.5 hours of my valuable vacation time!

This was such a great experience. It was our first time doing something like this.!! the room was fantastic. The service was great. Had margaritas waiting for us as we were checking in close to the pool, which was great getting rides on golf carts to our room was cool. Super close to red Hook.
