The Paris Loft in the heart of downtown

Featured in the Hallmark movie "Love in the Sun", the Paris Loft apartment is on the second floor (European first floor) of the original Safety Harbor Hotel on Main Street, built in 1914. Recently renewed, the flat features all the comforts of home. The Inn is right in the center of downtown Safety Harbor, 15 minutes from both Clearwater (PIE) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) , 11 miles to the white sandy beaches of Clearwater, 17 miles to St.Petersburg. This is a perfect home base for your Gulf adventures. You will receive a keypad code by noon the day of your arrival upon booking. The keypad code will not work with the smart lock until it is check in time.

The flat has a romantic and private feel designed by the local designer (who also owns Accents by Paula on the first floor of the building) with stylish furniture and fun extras. Make the most of your stay with insider tips from a 30 year resident of the area.

There is a finished walk/bike path stretching 15+ miles along the Old Tampa Bay.

Paris Loft

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Paris loft. It was clean, cozy and had all that we needed for our brief visit. Parking was free and very near the loft. The location is fantastic…walking distance to local eateries and shops and only a few blocks to the beautiful harbor.

We absolutely loved this place! It is also in a great area where you can walk to shops, restaurants, and down to the waterfront park! I recommend renting a golf cart as well!

Not properly cleaned. Toilet seat was loose, soap dispenser was disgusting..soap was 1/4 full & clumpy, shower curtain wouldn’t close, dish soap was clumped on the sink under the bottle, bath hand towel had bleach sprayed on it, the mirror was streaked. I manage a B&B this would not be acceptable in my place.

Quaint apartment in downtown area

We had a wonderful stay at the Paris Loft. In town to meet with family for a memorial service. This apartment has a central location to all the great restaurants and shops in Safety Harbor. Clean and comfortable and just right for 3 of us! Would stay again.

First off, I would not recommend staying at this property. The experience was frustrating to say the least. We received no check-in information prior to arrival, specifically which unit we were staying in or what code to use to get inside. After messaging through the VRBO app and calling the number listed (with no success), I had to reach out to VRBO support directly, thankfully they were helpful and managed to get in touch with the owner. Eventually someone called me and stated the local property manager would be reaching out. We finally received the unit number and entry code.After going out for dinner and returning that evening, we discovered that the pullout couch was broken and completely unusable as a bed. There were no sheets or pillows provided for the pullout. I messaged the property manager again, who told me to try looking in another unit to see if I could find any.We ended up taking linens from the master bed in another unit, just to have something for two of our guests to sleep on that night. But they had to share a couch to sleep on, because the pullout was broken. At some point you give up and make due just to get through the night.For the price we paid, I expected at the very least a functioning bed and basic essentials like sheets and pillows. This property was not ready for guests, and I would advise others to look elsewhere.

Quaint apartment in the center of Saftey Harbor

This is the 2nd time we have started here for the Thanksgiving holiday. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. It is right on Main St in Saftey Harbor. Great town to walk and people watch. We hope to be back next year.

Paris Loft

We booked this apartment because it is located in the center of Safety Harbor. A walk out the door finds many shops and restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal. In person, the apartment presented just as pictured in a Parisian theme. Paula emailed us with check-in information and told use to contact her if we needed anything else during our stay. However, we didn't have the need. If available, we will book here on our next stay in Safety Harbor.

Location, location!! We rented the loft so we could be close to Ruth Eckerd Hall. What I didn’t expect was the beautiful, sprawling Florida property smack dab in the middle of the charming town of Safety Harbor. What a treat! It was quiet and clean with Parisian decor - which, after seeing Paula’s gorgeous shop at the front made perfect sense! We will be back!

My family and I were going to see the Piano Guys perform at the Ruth Eckerd Hall and needed a place to stay overnight. We have found that we enjoy staying in VRBO rentals much more than hotels, whenever possible! We found this location that was absolutely perfect for us and enjoyed walking around downtown Safety Harbor the day after the concert!! The flat was as advertised and even though our children are technically adults, it completely met our needs and we had a great time.

Fun get away

Great location and easy to get around town mostly by walking since everything was so close. The only things we would suggest to the owners are as follows: Need Bath wash clothes, Need pillow covers for extra pillows. Need top sheet for roll out bed. A few light bulbs next to bed are burned out. Knobs in sink look like they need a good cleaning. Need garbage bags.

This place was clean, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. We walked to dinner, and enjoyed the park nearby. We loved having the living room and full kitchen. Check-in and out were very easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Shhh! Don’t tell others!

Safety Harbor is Florida’s biggest secret and Paula’s Paris Loft is a real gem! We are snowbirds and stayed at the Paris Loft the month of March. Pictures are very accurate. The apartment actually seemed a bit bigger. It is tastefully decorated and very clean. March is a ‘drippy’ month here with leaves, pollen, and small hanging green worms. Kevin worked endlessly cleaning the stairs and porches of all of nature’s debris. He even blew off our car and gave us free washes at a local car wash! Dogs are welcome here, and I appreciated the beautiful lighting around the building during our late night strolls with our dog. Across the street is a small park with a large gazebo-perfect for your morning walk with Fido. The town is so much fun with lots of restaurants, shops, a nature walk by the water, parks, bands, street fairs and a story walk by the library. We loved our time at Paula’s so much we have already reserved for next year! Act fast, because the place will book up quickly! Enjoy!🥰

Perfect place!

This place is so cute and the area is amazing!! So many places within walking distance. Highly recommend the Sandwich on Main to eat! Delicious!!! The beach is a short drive away. Downtown Tampa is also about 20 minutes, great location!!
