    Your guest condo has a large open well-fitted kitchen with gas cooktop, refrigerator and dishwasher .....original heart of pine flooring throughout excepting kitchen and bathroom which have large Sautilla tile flooring. High ceilings, fans in every room, Mitsubishi split ductless a/c system, hurricane windows and doors, on-demand gas hot water.....

    Original artwork elevates the open layout and comfortable furnishings, even the hallway is a joy...and the bathroom. You'll enjoy the convenience of the walk in shower, but you'll still have the option to luxuriate in the extra deep Grecian soaker tub. Bedroom is roomy enough for king bed or twins, plus bureau, wall tree and antique standing mirror, without feeling crowded.... "just right" leather couch and oversized armchair...Extra long British Colonial Daybed in alcove off living room if you're extra tall.... Views of the sea from the porch and bay windows depend on the season of the plumeria and seagrapes.......

    Just steps out your door, enjoy Butlerhouse's historic gazebo for outdoor grilling and dinners, or just an afternoon swing on the bench with a good book, surrounded by sea breezes.

    All amenities available to owner/residents are available to all guests, including free electronic front-loader laundry and grills and designated parking. This is a separate unit accessed only by the guest. Access to porch door has 5 steps with railing, access to main building door and back bedroom of unit is 5 steps off ground with hand railing.

    Cleaning and disinfecting guidelines are strictly adhered to, I live across the hall and make sure of it. All surfaces are thoroughly disinfected and all bed/bath linens/spreads/pads laundered between guests, + there is a huge supply of extra linens in the unit for all beds and bath needs.

    Property has private porch, private entrance, private parking, and relatively private beachfront.... there is no public parking in our neighborhood.

    The Historic BUTLERHOUSE Condo is a charming boutique residential condo nestled directly in the dunes of Pass-a-Grille Beach. Walk our path through unmatched natural dunes....we are in the middle of a 10 block section of relatively private beachfront...yet close to everything.

    Romantic , fun, restoring, BUTLERHOUSE #3 is an unusually airy and bright corner unit with private exterior entrance and private awning-covered porch.... DUNES, DAISIES, SURF, SAND AND SUNSETS...

    Extraordinary BEACHFRONT location only 25 minutes from Tampa Airport. 45 minutes to Sarasota. 10 minutes to Ft. Desoto Park. 10 minutes to lovely vibrant downtown St. Petersburg on Tampa Bay, with myriad cultural and sports venues, recreational activities, music, theatre, galleries, shopping, European-style cafes and parks. Paradise is PASS-A-GRILLE!

Joan was an excellent host. She made sure we were happy with everything and even offered recommendations for things to do in the area. We loved the private porch and the easy access to the beach via a path off the property driveway. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Joan's place was immaculately clean, and the location and proximity to the beach was fantastic. It is within walking distance to two restaurants and a small store. Joan and the neighborhood are very friendly. We loved our stay and will be back!

Our apartment was a complete comfort zone and located right on the beach was just the therapy we needed for our special time together. Our host Joan was instramental in creating an atmosphere of healthy relaxation and Southern hospitality. Looking forward to making the Butler House an annual trip.

Retirement retreat

The location is perfect. The beach is lovely. 12 hour days of sun, sand and ciol refreshing water. Peaceful and restful is this place.

Title: Charming Beachside Gem with Artistic Flair and Perfect Location! We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint artistic condo in a beautifully restored Victorian home right by the beach! The space was cozy, colorful, and full of creative touches that made it feel special and unique. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged — you can really tell the host cares about every detail.The location couldn’t be better — just steps from Pass-a-Grille Beach and an easy walk to great restaurants, local bars, and cute little shops. The outdoor patio was our favorite spot to relax and grill after a day in the sun. It felt private yet close to everything, the perfect balance.Our host was amazing — warm, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. This condo truly captures the charm of St. Pete’s beach life with an artistic twist. We can’t wait to come back!

Quiet and Peaceful

If you are looking for a quiet, and peaceful place to stay with easy (and very cool) access to an equally peaceful beach, this is the place! There are no high rise buildings on this stretch of beach. The nearest restaurant/bar on the beach is a 25 Minute walk. Close enough to get to - far enough to keep foot traffic to a minimum.Joan is a great host. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

We had 2 wonderful weeks in this beautiful part of the world, a stone's throw from the stunning pass-a-grille beach. Quiet and peaceful location but also close enough to walk to restaurants/bars each evening. Joan was a great host and happy to help, in any way she could.

Perfect beach getaway

Butler House is a terrific spot for a getaway: on a private beach in a good, accessible area. Joan is a charming owner. Her place is extremely well-stocked from kitchen items to supplies to beach equipment. Her decor is very seaside and features works by local artists. We celebrated our 38th anniversary here, and it was restful, pleasant (nice front porch), and close to excellent restaurants and museums.

A Slice of Heaven

We passed two weeks at the historic Butler House in Pass-a-Grille The Butler House, a charming turn of the century building that has been transformed in condos. Just steps from the beach, the unit decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques was like stepping back in time. Our host Joan was just marvelous!! She was very attentive to any requests that we had and is a delight. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to relax and unwind!! Not to be missed

A Piece of Paradise

Amazing spot on Pass a Grille Bch. Small, multi-unit property with everything you need. You are in a residential neighborhood, that is quiet & peaceful with the beach just steps away. Beach chairs & umbrella provided. The beach feels like your own personal beach, as the touristy parts are north and south of the property. This was a much nicer & more intimate experience than a hotel room on the beach and Joan is a wonderful host. We are definitely coming back!

Butler House Vacation

Being our 4th stay in Pass-A-Grille, we thought we’d try something a little different off of the busiest part of the beach to something a little more private. It was so peaceful every day with nobody on top of you at the beach. Joan is the owner and, wow, what a sweetheart! And, she is on sight for any needs and she will even check in on you because she actually cares and is hands on. Bed was super comfy and the A/C rocks! Decompressing from rat race

Our flight was delayed 5 hours. Joan still greeted us at midnight. She was extremely helpful our first day to get our bearings. The location is 200 steps to the water. We spent almost 10 hours each day enjoying the sunshine and easy surf for a purely relaxing time. We ate breakfast and dinner outside and watched beautiful sunsets. Wish we could have spent longer in paradise. Looking forward to coming back in the fall.

Old but good location

We were surprised by how old a lot of the things at the property were for the price. We were expecting things to be a little more updated based on the positive reviews. I realized later very few of the pictures were from the inside of the property when verifying we were at the right place. I also then noticed that the positive reviews were based on Joans' communication and the location. The most frustrating part was that there was very little pressure in the shower and it took the right combination of turning on hot water on the bathtub and sink to get any hot water to trickle out of the shower. We could also hear the people walking around and the television from the second floor.If someone is looking for a truly historic experience this may be the place for you. We usually expect amenities at least comparable to where we live for this price.Unfortunately Joan was ill so we did not interact with her much so I cannot comment on that.The location to the beach was very handy and there were chairs etc, to use. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing.
