Welcome to Vista Grande -- a 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in The Gate that sleeps 15, just 5 minutes from Saint Louis University and an 8-minute drive to the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, and Budweiser Brewery. Our largest single St. Louis property.
The size is the defining feature. Five full bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa give 15 people real space to spread out -- not a cramped configuration, but genuine room across multiple floors. The modern kitchen is well-equipped for group cooking, with a dining area that seats everyone. In-unit laundry keeps longer stays practical.
The Gate neighborhood puts you closer to downtown attractions than most St. Louis zip codes. Gateway Arch National Park, Busch Stadium, Ballpark Village, and the Budweiser Brewery Experience are all an 8-minute drive away. SLU is 5 minutes away. Tower Grove Park and South Grand dining are a short drive south.
EV charger on-site -- included with your booking. Sister property Vista Companion is directly next door. Book both for up to 29 guests total: 10 bedrooms, 7 baths across two houses on the same block.

Great location for our family to meet from 4 different states. Plenty of space, adequate bedding, kitchen serviceable, parking available.Great game spaces were utilized.
This property was exactly as advertised! The location was perfect for getting out and seeing St. Louis by car. Walking the nearby college campus was fun as well.
Beautiful new home with plenty of space for family
JZ vacations were a pleasure to work with. They were responsive and helpful before and during our stay.
The home is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room for everyone. The basement is a little apartment all on its own.
We were in town for lacrosse tournaments and it was nice to come back, relax, cook a meal, shower, and do laundry each day!!
This place was the absolute best place I’ve ever stayed. We had a great time visiting family and celebrating our Mom’s 80th birthday. The photos doesn’t, do this place justice. Very beautiful, spacious and very, very clean.

We had a large family group coming to our daughter’s graduation and this house couldn’t have been more perfect for our needs. The house was clean, very nicely furnished, very roomy with ample space for all of us to hang out together. I especially liked the long dining room table. The beds were comfortable and things like coffee and dishwasher soap and sufficient toilet paper for our 4 night stay were all included. One recommendation would be to put a mirror in each bedroom. The house was located in the South Campus area and a stone’s throw away from all the activities on North Campus. Our communications with JZ Vacation Rentals before during and after our stay were great. They consistently responded to our questions very promptly and politely. I would recommend this house to anyone.
We had a group of 11 women staying and we were all comfortable. There was enough bathroom space and bathroom towels for all of us. A few towels and cleaning cloths for the kitchen would have been appreciated. We did not have any issues parking and we had 3 cars. It is a beautiful home, very comfortable! Easy access for us as we were here for a tennis tournament and the Dwight Davis Tennis Center was very close! We had one question that we asked the host about and it was answered promptly!
Lots of Pro's and a few Con's;Property inside was beautiful - lots of space, easy to accommodate our large group. Kitchen was well stocked so we could cook and eat a few meals in the home. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious. Two parking spots available in covered open air space, accessible from the alley. Little hard to park, but we figured out how to make it work. Our group had 12 people in it - again plenty of space to spread out. Nice that the kids could all hang out in the basement area and sleep in the multitude of beds down there. Some concerns;Towels were folded and in bathrooms when we arrived, but all were still damp (we assume they were hurried). Didn't have sufficient sheets to make the pull out beds. Quickly resolved issues with the property managers. One concern to potentially address - there is no way to open the garage door to park without someone entering the house from the front and walking thru the house/backyard to push a button. Thankfully we had multiple people in our group, but this would near impossible with a single individual, as street parking in front of the house is also not allowed.
