We've stayed at the Rancho Caymus Inn a couple of times, now. It's our preferred lodging in the Napa Valley as it's convenient to both St. Helena and to Yountville. The rooms are spacious, there's a pool and hot tub, it's quiet (other than it backs up to the BV winery), and the breakfasts (included with the room cost) are excellent!

Beautiful property well maintained with all the little touches that create the upscale experience. Room was a little dark—that was the only thing that wasn’t perfect. Bed comfortable and room spacious. Poolside loungers also quite comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling, great start to the day. Service was consistently gracious, warm and hospitable.

Such a cute inn. Would highly recommend staying here. Nice pool and firepits. Not much within walking distance except one restaurant but overall I would definitely stay here again.

Love the southwest style of this hotel. Rustic with wood beam ceilings yet very elegant. Great location, clean and comfortable. Serves a nice complimentary breakfast.

The property was great. Lovely, spacious room, nice complimentary bottle of wine and tasty, filling breakfast included. Regret that we did not remember to bring bathing suit for the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend this property!

This is a perfect place to stay , centrally located for a wine and food weekend at a very reasonable price in Napa. Great rooms, hot tub heated pool, great breakfasted included, multiple fire places and fire pits Friendly staff. Nice find. Thank you

Although we enjoyed our stay, we have 2 suggestions. The food and service was good but an area of contention was limiting breakfast to 3 items each person. For example, if you get eggs, bacon and a potato you could not have toast or fruit. I think this is petty for an accommodation of this caliper/price. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were like bales of hay. There were 2 pillows/ person on the bed so I highly recommend a large/fluffy pillow and one less substantial so guests can sleep more comfortably according to their preference. Staff were very friendly and the inn was cosy and comfortable. It was immaculate and I will recommend it.

Very cozy stay. The pool was a comfortable temp (in Feb) and we were in driving distance to a lot of amazing places. The staff was amazing. Would love to come back.

The property was beautiful. We stayed in a suite, 200, and unfortunately this particular suite was located above the management office with large wooden swinging doors that we heard all throughout the day and at night. I am not one to typically complain, but these rooms are very pricey and this is just a heads up to anyone considering a suite. I would avoid this particular room.

Returning to Rancho Caymus Inn after several decades was like stepping back into a cherished memory, only better! The "hacienda" now boasts a fresh, stylish update, yet remaining true to its rustic heritage. Enjoying a bottle of our favorite Chandon with the crackling fireplace as a backdrop, we snuggled under a plush blanket on the expanded patio, savoring the starlit sky. Breakfast continued to be a delight, with warm fluffy pastries, eggs, granola and an English muffin to die for. The staff were genuinely friendly and eager to ensure every detail was flawless. It's the perfect location for exploring Napa Valley, just steps from world-class wineries and St. Helena's charming shops. But the true magic lies in the atmosphere – Rancho Caymus Inn feels like a second home, where comfort and joy intertwine to create unforgettable experiences. We can't wait to return!

I stayed at Rancho Caymus many years ago and found it charming, but recently returned for another stay. I had heard they had completed an update a few years ago and WOW! Luxurious, yet so warm and inviting. Love the artisan decor and fireplace in the room as well as on the patio. The breakfast was a nice surprise and so well done. We will definitely be back on our next trip to California.

The place is so clean and gorgeous with attentive staff. The hotel is nearby the lots of wineries like Castle Di Amorosa and restaurants. There is also grocery store across the street.

Great but…
The RCI was everything we believed it would be. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much but noticed a few essential elements of hospitality were missing. The RCI’s reputation for being an exceptional venue lead us to believe there would be no mishaps or surprises. There were, but not they were not unforgivable. The RCI would benefit, in our minds, from a review of true hospitality when it comes to guests. Especially those willing to pay very high costs for the “experience”. Without offering the names we noted, 2 of the 3 associates who were minding reception, obviously did not enjoy their jobs. The 3rd did. He was very hospitable. This was the main disappointment with us. Our rooms were incredible but could use some fine tuning. Stains in the carpet took away from the exceptional decor. All these things will not prevent us from staying there again but we will think long and hard before paying regular rates. The RCI was and is an incredibly unique and quality place to stay in Napa.

Cozy and Comfortable
My wife and I had an amazing stay. We stayed in the premium suite which had 2 separate rooms. One as a living room with sink, wine refrigerator, sofa, full size table, and fireplace. The other was our bedroom which was very spacious. The best part of the room was the bathroom which was very large with a walk in shower that could fit multiple people. Unfortunately there’s only 1 shower head but it was plenty large. Every morning we had a superb breakfast made by the inn. The only downside if any was you could hear the street traffic when a car or trash dumpster would go by. We went during slow season so fortunately there wasn’t as much traffic as it would be during the summer. Aside from that, we loved the accommodation and the service. Definitely will come back again but would come back during the non-peak season.
