"Eine Ferienwohnung nach unserem Geschmack, sehr ruhig, direkt an Feldern gelegen mit Wanderwegen und schönen Aussichtspunkten. Ein Großes Lob an die Vermieterin, die darauf Wert gelegt hat das neben der schönen Einrichtung auch vernünftige Küchen Utensilien da sind. An den wichtigsten Fenstern sind hochwertige Fliegengitter montiert. Das Auto konnten wir unmittelbar am Haus parken und unsere Bikes haben einen tollen Platz incl. Ladefunktion in der Garage gefunden. Was uns auch gut gefallen hat ist, das neben der umfangreichen eigenen Informationsmappe, es ein Inforegal mit Flyern über die möglichen Aktivitäten, Wander- und Radwege incl. Karten aus der Region gibt und natürlich noch vieles mehr.Ein kleines Rundumsorglospaket und ein Ort an dem man die Seele baumeln lassen kann. "Owner Paul is very accommodating and hands on. Our room for 4 was big. Wished that there were 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. The only negative was wifi is not strong at all. "

"The place was clean, accommodating, and relaxing. We enjoyed the patio watching the various ships pass by. Bad Salzig is a couple miles away from the center of Balzig. An easy free train ride, or lovely walk along the river, but heads up. Bad Salzig itself is sleepy and closed. We had a beautiful unexpected hike to the nearest Aldi. (We were beholden to public transportation on our trip). The owner was lovely and tolerated our lack of German. "

"hard to describe the experience as we arrived in Frankfurt after 7 P.M. and didn't get on the road till 8 it was getting dark and finding this small village was very difficult for someone not familiar with the area. Didn't arrive till almost 11 no one there fortunately the door was unlocked and the room key was on the desk. No one up in the morning so no interaction at all !"
