Deckadence by the Water

Just meters away from the waters of St. Georges Basin this property is a perfect getaway for couples or young families. This bay is fantastic for water skiing, wind surfing or kayaking (and fishing of course). The waterfront reserve has a boat ramp for small craft and the main boat ramp is only a few minutes drive away. Children can swim safely in clean water which is cordoned off from boats.

It's just a short stroll to the Cooee Pub (great food) and the local shopping village, which includes Supa IGA, Chemist, Newsagents and specialty shops.

Accommodation is high end and includes 2 bedrooms - main has a Queen size bed and Bed 2 has two singles. The kitchen is fully equipped and the property has air conditioning.

Although there is a great BBQ area at the back of the property you will want to spend your time on the deck, having a drink and watching the brilliant sunsets at the end of the day.

Plenty of space for parking.

You're welcome to bring your small dog (up to 10 kgs). The back of the house has an enclosed area for them - approx 20m x 2m. Sorry, but not suitable for larger dogs.

Perfect Family Stay in a Convenient Location

We loved our stay

The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The spacious deck was perfect for enjoying sunset dinners with a stunning lake view. It was incredibly peaceful and conveniently close to all the attractions in Jervis Bay. I look forward to returning soon!

Great place to stay, awesome location. Very clean only issue we had was screen door lock was broken so we couldn’t lock door properly which was abit frustrating because we had our 1 year old with us.

Lovely peaceful spot near the water.

Spotlessly clean stay with everything you need for a quiet getaway. Very close to a picturesque little park where we sat in the late afternoon admiring the sunset over the water. Great little park for kids and a shallow and calm swimming spot for the little ones. Definitely stay there again

Location location location

We have had a marvellous time staying in this house. The deck is huge and is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the basin which is just at the end of the street. Close to local shops and a short drive into Jervis Bay. This is our second stay and we’ll be back!

Relax on the deck

From check in to departure is stress free. The coffee on the deck looking at the water was such a great way start the day. Highly recommend.

We had the most lovely stay in the property over a weekend. We were in the area for a wedding and wanted something local to the event.The property location is perfect. You can see the water from the front verandah. We spent the afternoon with some drink sitting with a lovely view. By the water is a lovely little park, so great if you have kids! A walk just up the street to the local shops and pub! We had dinner there and it was great!! The property itself was beautiful!. It was very clean and had everything you could need! It was just as the pictures showed. The host was great to communicate with and check in was a breeze.We will definitely be staying again and we have already recommended to our friends and family.

Comfortable stay

We had a very enjoyable 6 night stay. The house is well looked after and clean. There is a good outside area for a small dog. Easy access to local supermarket and take away shops. It is a great location for taking out the kayaks on a nice quiet street.

Wedding Weekend

This property is beautifully presented and close to all facilities at its location. The owner has gone to great lengths to provide everything for a great getaway or holiday. It is modern and very comfortable, close to the water very peaceful.

Property was super clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, so we could cook....and use the BBQ...it was really close to the water and had a great park at the end of the street overlooking the water with children's play equipment.

Good property for travellers with dogs

Nice modern clean property. I enjoyed my stay with my dog. Clean fenced yard with good lawn for dogs. Driveway gate is a little low, if you have an athletic dog like mine it might jump it. Good location only a short drive to local beaches, walking distance to pub and IGA.

Great quiet little getaway with everything you need

Property has everything you need, catered for children and very clean. One minute walk to water also in a nice quiet area. Walkable to shops and Cooee Pub. We took our 2 dogs, there’s a great little secure area at the side of the property. Would be even more perfect if maybe there was a doggy door and a gate on front balcony to keep our fur babies in. We still could sit have a drink and watch the beautiful Sunset would definitely stay again.

Deckadence indeed

We were around on the weekend for the Husky Triathlon and this house was perfect! Peaceful and quiet spot with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Bed was super comfy conducive for a good nights sleep the night before the triathlon (with the nerves) and after when completely exhausted from a long day out. Cosy size for our little family and enough space to keep the bikes. Close and easy drive to Huskisson. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of the local area. Loved sitting on the deck having a cup of tea and enjoying the view. Thank you for having us Linda!

EXCELLENT

This accommodation and location is fantastic. As we are moving down to Sanctuary Point in 2024 we decided to stay and look around the area. Linda was great and the facilities in the house were absolutely everything you need for a short or long stay. We had two small dogs that loved being close by the water at St Georges Basin. I would definitely recommend this to a small family who have pets. Great value for money and 5 * review from us.

Good break

Location is really good which is near the lake and pets are welcome to stay. Some items in the fridge and in the kitchen like milk are past its best before date though which I would suggest for the owner to check and remove instead. I would also suggest to allow EV users to charge their car in the premises and maybe just have an standard surcharge for those who want to charge their cars. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will recommend this place especially for travellers who have their pets with them.

Nice location

The house is near a lake, with beautiful sunset. Is a 15mins short drive to Huskisson where u can find lots of good eats. Easy check in, host is friendly.
