"We were very lucky to get a parking spot as it was just on the road at the front of the building. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the en-suite consisted of toilet and shower only - the wash hand basin was in the bedroom where there were no towel rails. The gentleman who greeted us was excellent as he had to do everything including cooking the breakfasts due to his manager being unwell."

"The location is ideal for the seafront and restaurants. The bathroom was very spacious however the room itself was extremely tight. Unfortunately the service was so bad, I will not be returning. When checking in, we had to speak to 3 different members of staff before finding out which room we were in, and not one of those staff members even said hello or greeted us in any way. They ran past us trying not to acknowledge our present, We were just left standing there with absolutely no information given that it was not busy there was only 1 other guest sat at the bar, it was an unnecessary and a disgraceful performance."

"We loved our stay in the self catered 2 bedroom apartment. It was clean, spacious and generally very comfortable. We massively enjoyed our breakfasts, drinks and nibbles on the awesome private terrace. The only feedback I would have is that the kitchen equipment is rather bare. I would recommend the general manager stays, cooks and eats here for a few days and then buys what they discovers is missing in the kitchen. Doing so could hugely elevate the home away from home feeling. Other than that, lovely staff, good food downstairs and a nice area."

"Avoid this hotel at all cost. Firstly the hotel reception is located in the main restaurant and the staff are too busy dealing with other customers so you will end up waiting with luggage in a restaurant trying to check in, staff are unhelpful and do not even greet you. The rooms are stuffy and uncomfortable. I stayed with my family and the bathroom is dirty and smelly. When i complained for a different room staff told me to check out and request refund because no other room can be given. The water pressure is very low and bath tubs are dirty . Alot of lime scale is visible on taps and the carpets seem very old, beds are ok but the bedding had yellow stains in the corner as housekeeping may have tried to hide from guests. I also noticed mice running around in the carpark that made my kids feel uneasy. Maybe because restaurant food waste was left at the back of the building."

"We booked 3 nights at the Pegwell and I would say it’s the best hotel in Ramsgate. From getting a nice early check in, to the delicious breakfast every thing was spot on. The walk into Ramsgate is around 40 minutes and is lovely, we found the location perfect, and very quiet. Highly recommend the hotel and Ramsgate for a weekend break."

"I would not recommend this stay. The key was not in the letter box. We struggled to get in for 2 hours and then they only gave us the key for the room door and not the front door. They had to keep calling the other residents to open the door for us which is not their responsibility. It is the hosts job. The person listing the property had no contact with us. We had to keep calling the main number and being put on hold for over 45 minutes each time. The communication is terrible. The outside is a dump. There are multiple bins outside and it smelt so bad. We found 2 bugs in the kitchen and a top under the bed from the previous person. Not clean at all. 100% would not recommend and because of this our stay was highly stressful and disturbed."
