Calabash refers to "TOP SHELF". This is a big 2 bedroom, 1 bath ground floor unit located within 1/2 mile of grocery stores, numerous restaurants, bars and grills, gift shops and unique specialty stores. Sleeps 6 people very comfortably. (1) queen bed) (1 single bed in each bedroom. Two new couches in living room. Full working kitchen, stove, oven, microwave, kitchen bar, washer and dryer. Big open living room with HD cable service. Large outside screened in porch and deck area with BBQ and cooking area. Big screen HD tv for all of the games! Perfect spot for families and seniors alike. Wi-Fi is included. Outside items such as beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are not provided. During Hurricane season (June1 - November30) we strongly advise guests to take out the travel protection plan offered through VRBO to protect your trip! We do not allow pets! The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time during your stay is (6) people! There is no smoking allowed inside the house or the screened in porch, thanks for understanding and please adhere to the rules and policies during your stay.

Fun Family-Friendly Spot

We really enjoyed our stay here. The immediate access to the beach was incredible. The home was comfortable, clean, but also very practical with kids. The outdoor rinse-off station and laundry room were very helpful. We loved experiencing the flora and fauna in this area. Highly recommend day trips to Wakulla Springs SP and the local ANERR Nature Center if you’re needing a break from the beach.

It was clean and owner was easy to communicate with. We had bad weather most of week so though I knew before hand We couldn’t see the ocean from the porch since it was on the bottom level but super easy walk to the beach.

We had a great time! We wanted to get away and relax for a few days and this house was perfect for that. It was very close to downtown but also private. We made good use of the kitchen and the screen porch. Rick was responsive and everything was easy and quick.

Beautiful and quaint

We loved our stay at St. George Beach. It was a beautiful area that is not over commercialized like most Florida beaches in the area. Small town community feel but offers several activities as well. We loved our location. We were right on the beach and it was not over crowded with people. The house was very well kept and clean with several new modern updates.

Beautiful sunrises right outside the back door to start the day. The center of town is about a half mile walk away. Ate at several restaurants but the Blue seemed to be our fave. Rick, the host, was very accommodating!!

Fun was had by all. Watched dolphins playing and feeding. Caught crabs. Watched pelicans dive for their dinner daily. It was like watching Wild Kingdom from the first row. Wonderful.

Awesome Stay

The lower level unit we stayed in was very clean , and had everything you needed for a weeks vacation getaway. My wife and I stayed there 6 nights and had a great time . Only 30 or 40 yards to the beach . Every morning you wake up hearing the waves crashing into the beach . The second night we stayed I found a bottle washed up in the beach ( message in a bottle) we found lots of shells . Really good places to eat close by . All in all I would recommend this VRBO to anyone 😊😊😊😊😊

Just do it!

This was our first time actually staying on the island, we typically stay over in carrabelle and drive over. After this week, I will always try to go back here! It was very clean and just felt very homey. It wasn’t crowded, we only had one other family in the condo with us at the time we were there. Everyone is very respectful and keeps distance. The condo has everything you can need, and if it doesn’t you are not far at all from a store. We are so ready to come back next year!
