"Beautiful balcony with view of Bras D'or Lake and bridge. Plenty of seating area outside on the balcony and in the front entrance to our rooms. It was spacious and staff were friendly. Pub on site was very convenient."

"Beautiful home/cabin with a fabulous ocean view, upstairs and downstairs! Kitchen is upstairs with living room,bedroom, bath. Fully equipped. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms bath/shower. Shampoo, soap,plenty of towels!.Everything was perfect. Even kitties nearby to say hello! My favorite place. Looks new to me! Amazing View!! Jon was great and so was Dieane!"

"Very quiet there. Free laundry was very helpful. The staff went out of their way to help out. We had hoped the dining room would be open. The heater in our room needs maintenance. It was very noisy. But all in all a very good place. We’d definitely recommend Bras D’Or Laje Inn."

"We had a great stay. The house was modern & equipped with a grill which was a great bonus. We enjoyed the hot tub & sauna which overlooked the lake. Would recommend staying here."

"The waterfront with gazebo, paddle boat, canoe and sitting area are the main attraction at this basement suite. Unfortunately, we were rained out for 3 full days and spent our time inside, so offer that perspective. The kitchen is well-equipped. WIFI is good. We found the seating (1 love seat, 3 backless kitchen stools) somewhat uncomfortable for long periods of sitting (to read, for example). Upstairs noise is easily heard downstairs (footsteps, TV, vacuuming, flushing toilet drains). Washer and dryer are appreciated but these are setup in the kitchen. A full mattress is also stored in the kitchen. A TV screen would be most helpful for rainy days. The hosts are friendly and were responsive to a water leak. Games, puzzles and books are provided. Recommended for sunny stays."
