Beautiful room with exquisite decor. The entire place had Japanese furniture, paintings and Geisha figurines. The room was clean, with fresh sheets and beautiful colors. Red pillows cases and a big red bow on the bed (made with the blanket) were the welcoming party. I liked that a code for the room and the entrance door were sent prior to our arrival. The staff were great and friendly. Beautiful scenery, nice and comfy hotel.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Loved the jetted tub and the balcony. The pools were very cold but nice. The grounds were so beautiful and calming to walk around. We will definitely be back

Very nice, let us check in early. Clean European boutique style hotel. The shower was great pressure, the bed, linens, and pillows were comfortable and cozy. Nice little breakfast with everything bagels and cream cheese, good coffee. It’s an old building so there is some noise but not bad. I loved the quaintness of it. I would definitely go back. AND- the best seafood restaurant is right next door- Commander’s, the best oysters we have ever had!!

Nice, quiet and relaxing 2 night stay. Loved the 2 small pools. Everything was clean and the complimentary continental breakfast was convenient. Also, the restaurant just next door was an added plus. Will definitely visit again when we need a quiet getaway!!

Great choice for a relaxing getaway on A1A in Crescent Beach/Matanzas River area. Bed was comfortable and room was huge plus the balcony was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset. It was a nice walk to the pier and a cool breeze while we were sitting there.

The property is private and quiet. This property certainly lives up to its name, this is my second stay at this property and from start to finish they were welcoming and accommodating as I arrived a little early this trip I was able to get early check-in and the room was beautiful and clean and well decorated with amazing views and peaceful scenery. I can’t recommend staying here enough. Room one had a jetted private Jacuzzi tub and it was clean and comfortable and obviously well maintained. I will certainly be staying again.

Only ten minutes outside St. Augustine, this gem is the perfect retreat from the hustle bustle of the tourist areas. Sound does travel on the travertine floors, but there is very little of it. Great breakfast, lovely staff, beautiful view and the sunsets are breathtaking.

Caisley the manager was very helpful with anything we needed. Always ready to help. The rooms were very clean. Really loved the decor of the rooms and entrance. My friend and I was able to sit and talk while watching the rain. The variety of snacks was great for in-between meals. Parking was great! I will be back for a return visit. I have already recommend to several people.

Very nice property. Easy check in. We were very happy that they offer a breakfast with coffee, tea and juice. With actual coffee cups, plates and utensils. Pool was very regal. Nice fountain and a beautiful deck that takes you out to the dock and the other side of the street is the ocean. Beautiful place for a romantic getaway. Will recommend to friends.

The property was amazing! Everything was so beautiful and clean. Perfect place to stay if you’re not looking for a busy hotel. Extremely close to the beach, Crescent Beach, which is a lot quieter from the rest of Saint Augustine. I was surprised that there was no beach access in walking distance though. I thought it was interesting and unique that a beach hotel was completely filled with Asian decor. An amazing experience and would highly recommend to anyone else.

I felt like a a level movie star wlking into an exclusive suite in the Riveara (sp) hat said if I was spending more time in the room some of the furniture although very high end and wonderful wasnt really practical and comfortable. A simple desk and chair would have been nice for sitting on the laptop at the end of the day... but that is being hyper picky, cuz we didnt spend a lot of time in the room :). The wow factor of the room, the property and the personable "AI guy" who was simply someone somewhere with a web cam who greeted us in the lobby and chatted it up when he saw us coming in the door on his screen..As odd as it was the virtual front desk guy worked:) Bliss by the Sea created good memories and didnt have to try hard...oh yeah the real lif lady who was doing the breakfast...a wonderful representative.

Was told I had a room that didn't exsist. Called the desk at the actual hotel. Was told I had a room west facing. I am from this area and know how beautiful the sunsets are, so this was important to me. I wanted two beds in the room and view of inlet. They do not have any rooms with two beds except for the bottom floor. One room has no windows. The one we were in had had a window to the parking lot on the east side, cars right next to it. Cars woke us up throghout the night and morning. Two pools are hot tub size and there is not a bar. Breakfast 7 to 11 am. Went at 10:30, coffee empty. Everything had been put up except for a awful egg casserole. They really did not care when I complained. There two days and DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will never go back. Some of the furniture had holes. I have photos but I am having trouble uploading. Beautiful dock is only good thing at this place and looks like outsiders use it also

Very small! Misleading Pictures and Descriptions!!

The pictures online were quite beautiful and very deceiving. The arrival was smooth, great communication and they even allowed us to check in early! That’s where the positives stop. The listing said two pools and two pool bars. The pools were the size of hot tubs, not pools, and there was no bars at all!! The listing said family friendly, but we were very glad we didn’t book this place with our son. It’s definitely not family friendly! Also, no elevator! The room was extremely small, barely room for one person to walk through and very difficult for two! The wall side of the bed was barely passable. (The book is a scale for the picture) In the room, you could hear every noise in the hallway The bathroom had a gas station bathroom soap dispenser, rust from the faucet and the sink was so low the water splattered everywhere. My husband was so uncomfortable and claustrophobic, we couldn’t remain in room any longer than to sleep. The worst part of the stay was no hot water!! My husband ran the water over 10 minutes before taking a cold shower. After notification, they said the water takes a little while to warm up in Room 8!! They offered to move us at 11:30pm or we could use the shower in the room next to us!! Why were we placed in a room they knew had no hot water, if they had another open!! They did offer us 15% discount…haven’t seen anything yet! We were looking forward to a great adult getaway, extended our trip one day with this hotel and truly wished we didn’t!
