Saint Augustine BD Get Together

Spacious home with a lovely heated pool. It was a pleasant walk to the beach, Aunt Kate’s Restaurant and a short drive into Saint Augustine. We would visit there again.

A great, clean, and bright place to stay! The neighborhood was very quiet and cozy, and the walk to the beach was perfect - enough to get to stretch your legs a little, but not too far to be tiring. As soon as you walked in, you could tell the rental was both clean and cool, a relief after being in the hot sun at the beach! The fully stocked kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed. We didn’t need to reach out to the host for anything during our stay, but we were confident we'd be able to reach David if needed. He was very responsive during the booking process and leading up to check in, as well as letting us know the check out procedure well in advance. Would highly recommend booking this place for your next beach vacation!

This house is beautiful. It is spacious and very nicely decorated. The proximity to the beach is just perfect. It is also just a few miles away from Old St. Augustine. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place!

We did a staycation here and it was a great size for a family. We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers and 2 dogs and we never felt cramped. It’s well done and had everything we needed! When we do a staycation again this will be it!!!

The property was perfect for our family of four, accompanied by my mom and three of my siblings. The house was clean, the pool was refreshing and very well maintained. The bedrooms and overall gathering rooms were spacious. The kitchen was adequately appointed: small and major appliances worked great; some utensils and cookware could be replaced. The only gripe that some of my family members had was about yard's landscaping. For such a great property and location, compared to the surrounding neighborhood, they felt like the yard had potential for more curb appeal. Overall, they stay was great for my family. And the communication with the property manager was clear and on point, which added value to our stay and comfort. I certainly recommend this home for a beachside getaway.

Beautiful place

The house was clean well organized. Owner was fantastic at responses and very friendly. Able to house larger parties and was a great place for a bachelor weekend with walking distance to the beach, and a $10 Uber ride away from st Augustine. Overall highly recommend!

Good location for beach vacation

The house is within walking distance of the beach, making it very convenient to play there. There was a hose at the entrance of the house, which was nice for rinsing off when returning from the sea. The interior of the house is decorated with a surfing motif, and the living room provided a comfortable space for the whole family to relax.

A Place In The Trees

So peaceful and clean! We loved our stay at your house! It was centrally located and we have 4x4 so we could drive right out on to the Beach with all our stuff!! After a full day in the sun on the Beach we could come back to the pool and relax in the shade! It was Bliss!

Great retreat!

Perfect family friendly beach house. Clean. Very peaceful residential area. Loved the open floor plan downstairs, pool and open garage. New outdoor table that seats 8 in the garage below and there are two additional chairs in living room for seating. The master bedroom is upstairs but there is no door to the room. Close to beloved restaurants, public beaches and Publix.

Great place to stay!

Our stay at Beachside Getaway was great. The house is tastefully decorated, neat and clean. The open layout is really nice. The deck off the living room is pleasant with some decent shade from the trees. The house is situated on a quiet road, and walking around the neighborhood is very enjoyable. The kitchen is great for preparing meals and has every thing one could need. The kitchen items are of a nice quality. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and the beds very comfortable. The master bed and bath are just delightful. The outdoor pool is perfect for cooling off and kid friendly. The wagon full of beach things was hugely appreciated and a great way to get the kids and stuff to the beach. The walk to the beach is on a very quiet street and takes about 5 minutes. Just one busy street to cross right at the beach, but not a problem. The beach is lovely. Our family had a toddler in tow, and the available pack and play was appreciated.

Great interior and location

The interior and location of this house is excellent. Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. However, the pool is not private, as there no fencing with the pool near the street. Anyone walking the street or from nearby houses could see right into the pool area. If this doesn’t bother you, then by all means. Listing pictures and description of the pool and yard we felt were misleading The yard around the house needs upkeep and not a pleasant backdrop to a ‘pool house’. Additionally, the exterior furniture needs to be replaced, and was either not usable or very uncomfortable. There were no cushions on any chairs and holes/dents in the wicker material. Again, interior, location and property manager were strong positives. Exterior of the house (fence/privacy, upkeep of yard, outdoor furniture) were big negatives and needs attention…especially for a pool home where you’d like to enjoy the outdoors. Four stars for the positives. Hopefully, the property management makes the needed improvements to make this a fantastic property/house for future renters.
