Food was really average. Was not expecting this from ITC. Stay was ok. Lot of issues with the room given starting from power points, to electricity to AC to old water kettles. I had to call their staff number of times to get it sorted.
For the money they are chanting , I would say it’s an average property.

Fortune Heevan is a very comfortable and nice property in Srinagar. The rooms are clean, well designed and spacious giving a view of the well maintained gardens. Food is excellent with local cuisine on the menu and a separate restaurant just offering Peshawari cuisine. Staff is courteous, with special mention of Khalid at the restaurant who took very good care of us.
The hotel is within walking distance from Nishat and Shalimar gardens, however since there is no walking path and the road has moving traffic, walking is not advisable. Sharing cabs are available.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very close to Nishat garden. Good comfortable rooms. Amazing staff and food.

No facilities for entertainment or activities. No heater during cold weather. Restaurant staff prioritised a group of guests over us even though we paid for the stay and service. Overall, not worth the money and could have chosen other options.

Disappointing. Underwhelming
This property does not warrant a 4 star tag! Rooms are very badly maintained. Upholstery is torn. Horribly cold. Not comfortable at all. Food was also below par( we ordered Kashmiri for dinner). Breakfast buffet was sad. Service at reception was below average.

Small beautiful boutique hotel in heartof Srinagar
We stayed at this hotel for one night from 8th September to 9th September before starting o our trek in Sonmarg. It is a boutique hotel having 39 rooms.
Location is just perfect very close to Dal lake and Nishad garden. The staff is very friendly,, from front desk to room service to restaurant. They go out of their way to help you. Their cab service was also excellent. Food was very tasty at Peshawari Restaurant. Their breakfast had a good spread.They have a huge garden in back of hotel which is beautiful. Their Gym is of good standard.I will recommend this hotel if you are going to Srinagar. We had also booked same hotel for our return journey from trek.
