Church retreat extraordinaire

Amazing property. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Kitchen, living room, laundry and dining room on every floor. Luxurious bedrooms. A beautiful old mansion. In the heart of Springfield. Every amenity you could imagine. We had an amazingly wonderful weekend of sharing and church family time.

Overall, we enjoyed the house - it is very nice. However, it loses a star for lack of privacy. There are cameras inside in the stairwell leading to the separate floors which we were not aware of ahead of time. We had 2 separate instances of different personnel letting themselves into the home unannounced with the keypad while we were home. We didn't feel comfortable with people just letting themselves in while we were there - no knock, ring, text or anything. None of us have ever stayed somewhere where the owner or designated person came in the home unannounced and then even walked in to the living space to talk with us. As a group, we unanimously thought it was uncomfortable and an invasion of our privacy when we paid for the entire home for a weekend.
