A Very Unique, Quirky, and Comfortable Family Home

Summary:
This beautiful home has all of the charm and quirks that come with 1800s design. The main level is equipped with an inviting living room that boasts a wall mounted 55" smart TV, a dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen complete with washer and dryer. Also on the main floor you will find our relaxing King Suite as well as a half bathroom. Did we mention quirks? One of this home's oddities is the cozy shower that you will find nestled in the corner of the king bedroom!

The Space:
***NOW FEATUREING A NEW HALF BASKETBALL COURT!!***

Our second level offers a bunk room that will comfortably sleep 6, a second bathroom with a full size tub, a quaint queen bedroom and a spacious double queen room complete with a desk and work area absolutely perfect for anyone away on business or needing to finish up some school work. Whether you're traveling solo, with a small family, or a small army, our home is just perfect for you!

Smart lock technology will allow for a seamless self check in upon your arrival. There is also free street parking as well as ample parking space located in the back of the house accessible through the alleyway.

Conveniently located just minutes from the Spokane Arena, Kendall Yards, and Downtown Spokane!

We are slowly renovating this gem of a home and it is a lovely work in progress! You may notice the floors are a little unlevel so don't lose your marbles here or you may never get them back! (: All jokes aside, this is a delightful home and we hope you will stay with us and appreciate it for it's unique and quirky charm, just as we do! BOOK NOW!!

Guest Access:
Free parking is available behind the house accessible through the alleyway. Additional parking is available in front of the house on the street and is first come, first serve.

Other Things to Note:
We provide starter sets of basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc. It will be the guest's responsibility to replace if any of these items run out during your stay. Generally there is plenty and this usually only impacts long term stays.

Interaction with Guests:
We value the privacy of our guests, but want to ensure that all of your needs are met during your stay. Our level of involvement is dependent on your personal needs. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to better accommodate you in anyway.

We loved the space. One bathroom was quirky or better for vertically challenged. It worked just fine and we had no problems. We would book this space again.

The hosts were very nice, but we won’t stay here again. The house sleeps 10, yet there are only 4 chairs for the table. The shower upstairs basically just trickled down and the downstairs shower was made for only short people. The cleaning crew left smears on the windows and other areas that weren’t quite clean.

Very convenient

This house is"quirky", which we enjoyed. It was conveiently located and seemed to be 4 minutes from everything we were doing. The house is very clean and well equipped. Jerry and Natasha were great hosts with clear directions and quickly responded to questions

Totally fine

The property manager was very prompt in communicating and the check in process was smooth (they accommodated a slightly earlier check in too!). The home fit a lot of people and the basketball court was really fun. The quality of furniture inside the house wasn’t great like mattresses you can feel the springs in. This is a property that feels like it’s a company managed listing and while adequate for a bunch of people, it didn’t have any of us super impressed.

Quirky but nice and comfortable

The house was comfortable and we had no problems except the dimmer switch in the master bedroom was not working. We fixed food easily in the well-stocked kitchen for a Thanksgiving gathering in another spot in Cheney as well as our meals during our stay. Our hosts were quick to respond to us and gave us wonderful help. We didn’t use the quirky shower, but maybe next time!

This home was our first stay at a Vrbo! I am happy we stayed! This home was extremely helpful with our trip to Silverwood well worth the 50 min drive. Very close to the super markets! Parks, and freeway! Definitely will be back again!

Great place for family trip!

Great house to stay for our family vacation. Very easy to find, house was very clean and comfortable. Portable AC units in many rooms really helped with the hot days! And the hosts were great with communication. Definitely recommend!

Excellent Host, Fabulous Communication

The host here is absolutely fabulous, checked on us numerous times to ensure we had everything we needed and to see if they could help in any way. Good location to downtown area, felt safe. Although the neighborhood is a little run down, it is being revitalized in a good way and will soon be one of the best locations to visit. Off street parking is a plus given the narrow streets. Property is great, clean and well stocked with kitchen gadgets and adequate bedding for all rooms. Dining room could use more seating, but I'm not sure it could be accomplished with the size of the room. Overall, great stay, would do it again. Thanks Jerry and Natasha for your excellent hosting. Spokane Visit

This house was perfect for our group that traveled to Spokane for women’s wrestling world team trials. The house was huge, but still cozy. It was also very quiet. The hosts were AMAZING. They were very communicative, which was so appreciated. Would stay in any of their properties in a heartbeat.

Good Value, Clean & Easy check in/out

We had 7 adults one teen staying for 3 nights in this property. Very adequate bedding and amenities. House was clean and well stocked with some games and adequate bedding/towels and kitchen supplies. Close to downtown area which was very convenient for our needs. It's an older part of town so street parking was limited; however, there is plenty of parking in the rear (accessed by alley). Stairs are steep leading up to bedrooms upstairs, so if you have trouble with stairs it may not be suitable for you, we found it very acceptable. Management was super about communication before, during and after our stay making sure we were well informed and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

Misrepresented

It would sleep proper number had dining chairs for only 4 ad said 2 baths but a shower was in bedroom and you would have to be 5ft and weigh no more than 150lbs. The toilet was in same room as the dining table

Pictures and description are quite misleading. Property is located in a run down part of town and exterior is unkept with 2' tall weeds. Inside was very clean. The "master bath" is a shower in the master bedroom and the down stairs half bath. Not enough linens for me than 2 night stay. There is an AC unit downstairs that doesn't work. No AC upstairs (outside temp was 85 when we arrived). Overall this property was inexpensive for the number of people it will sleep. You get what you pay for...

Has everything you need

Had everything we needed for our stay and even more. We didn't expect to use the washer and drier, but one of us had a lotion bottle explode in their bag so we were able to put that to good use! Thank you for the stay.

Cute and clean home

The home overall was really nice to stay at. The inside was really clean, very nicely decorated, and had plenty of space for everyone to sleep! Everything in the house was really nice, the details were right on, from nice soaps to good coffee. The neighborhood appeared a little rough, but the home was super close to the city and you could drive to the park or downtown in about 5 min! The house was built a long time ago which made for some fun quirks and the kids loved that. I have to mention the floors are not level which did lead to some dizziness as I am sensitive to that, but the kids had a blast with it 😂. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay and I do recommend it.
