"Unbeknownst to us until we actually arrived, there is MAJOR balcony construction happening. No access to balcony - jackhammering & pounding noise from 8-4 during the week. We left 12 days early because construction penetrated both bedroom walls under the windows. Debris and dust inside ! Got a partial refund from Owner upon discovery of conditions but it was not nearly enough to compensate for the lack of ocean view balcony access, the noise, the debris and having construction workers on a scaffold right outside your bedroom. "

"We enjoyed the home. We had 16 people staying in the home. Everything was great except we had to stagger showers so everyone had hot water. I contacted villatel to make sure there wasn’t a problem. They said everything was fine. If you have a large group of people beware of hot water tank limits. "

"Check-in was a total disaster. Never received check-in information. No key no codes no one available to call. After being let into the property by other guests we saw a number to call in the garage if there are problems. Not an experience one would expect for the high cost. Yes nice ocean view and pool. Boy only if you can get in. "

"Clean rooms and nice amenities throughout. The communal pool and hot tub have a great view. Pirate room has solid 6 beds in one room. Kids loved it!!! We will recommend to a group of large families with kids. Heated pool and grill was fantastic. Great job team Villatel !!"

"My family stayed here for 4 weeks and we really like this subdivision (this is our 3rd year vacationing here). The home was as advertised but there were a few small details that future renters may want to be aware of. Our group found the beds to be uncomfortable and some were disappointed that there were not televisions in the bedrooms (1 tv in the lower level living room and 1 in the upper level fanily room). We ran into some issues with the house and the hosts responded within a few hours. We appreciated being able to use the garage space but it is inconvenient that there is no grill (there IS a grill at the house but the lid is locked closed). We paid extra for the pool heater for the length of our stay but it was unreliable at best. The host explained that the heater will freeze up when the outside temps drop and will need time to be defrost which can't happen until the outside temps raise, but the only reason we wanted pool heat was so we could use the pool even on cooler days. Unfortunately, we felt that paying extra for pool heat was a waste of our money. The home is nicely decorated and it suited our needs for our long stay. The kitchen had plenty of silverware, plates, cups, and such which was great. We really like staying at Harbor Island Beach Club. The beach access is a very easy walk (even for our 6 and 3 year old) and it's nice to be slightly south of the hussle and bussle of town. "

"Very nice stay. Let us check in early. Messaged about some problems but host never got back toUs. Other then the grill not working, oven missing bottom heat source so cooking was a challenge and the hornets nest on back porch our stay was good. "
