2/10 Terrible

"We had a room on the third floor adjacent to a group that decided they wanted to party. Loud music, loud voices, and cursing were all part of the mix. We waited until 10:15pm to call down to the desk and we were told they would ask the neighbors to quiet it down. I called back at 10:45pm and they acted surprised that it wasn't quieter as they had told them they were just playing games and they were going to sleep. i assured her that it was not the case, they were just as loud as ever. i called back at 11pm and she said she hadn't talked to them yet as she was busy checking in guests. At 11:30, we fell asleep only to be woken by more loud noise. Not sure when it got truly quiet but it was after midnight. The next morning, the hair dryer wasn't working in the bathroom (tried both outlets) and I called down and asked if someone could bring me another one. The desk guy said yes and then hung up. never got the hair dryer...but i found out it it did work when i plugged it into the room outlet. PROs: check in was smooth, people were friendly. Breakfast had several options."

"We stayed here this weekend while in Flagstaff for my son’s baseball tournament. Overall, the hotel was very clean, well maintained, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we had a difficult experience with the guests in the room next to us. The rooms shared a wall where our beds were located, and around 11:00 PM a group came down the hallway being extremely loud with little consideration for other guests. After entering their room and repeatedly slamming the door, the noise continued for nearly an hour. It was loud enough to wake my entire family multiple times throughout the night. I tried knocking on the wall several times in hopes they would realize how much noise they were making, but it continued. Eventually, I called the front desk, and about 15 minutes later the noise finally stopped. I understand that inconsiderate guests are not the hotel’s fault, which is why I still want to acknowledge the positives about the property and staff. However, it was frustrating because we had traveled from Phoenix and specifically booked a hotel so our son could get a good night’s rest before a 6:00 AM wake-up call and a double-header baseball game the next morning. Unfortunately, none of us slept well. Despite this experience, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. I just wish our stay had been a little quieter."

"The hotel was nice yet there was a strong mildew smell in the lobby and we could not find a room that smelled okay on the 4th floor. The staff was very nice and let me smell different rooms. I ended up with a 5th floor room right next to the elevator, but it was surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was good, but we did not feel we could use the pool because of the strong odor."

"I really did not expect a motel 6 to be this nice but it sure was. I was moving with all of my earthly possessions piled in my car and very worried that someone would break in. But I didn't have that worry at this place. The rooms were clean and the service was pretty good."
