"Overall my wife and I loved Shell Island Resort. The view from the deck was awesome, the room was well kept, and they even had Netflix so we didn't have to watch all the commercials during a show. The ony drawback to the room - labeled "deluxe", was the very cheap utensils and nothing sharper than a butter knife. Definitely nothing but the sparsest of itchens. More importantly, the building maintenace needed improvement. Only one elevator was functional, which meant long wait times since we were on an upper floor. And, once again the hot tub was not functioning. Same as the last two times we stayed. We will stay there again of course, and just hope for the best as far as the hot tub and elevator, and bring our own utensils."
