"The room was very clean. The beds need to be updated, very uncomfortable. Pillows were exceptionally small. Breakfast buffet was cold and we didn't get there very late. All things considered, room was adequate."

"We had a fantastic stay at Sawtelle Mountain Resort in Island Park! The resort is ~ 30 min from Yellowstone west entrance and resort rates are reasonable. The very first thing we noticed was how spotless and well-maintained the entire property is. Our family room was absolutely immaculate and had a wonderfully unique charm to it that made the stay feel extra special. Another huge plus was the complimentary breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh options to start the day. If you are visiting Yellowstone National park, I highly recommend staying here."

"Booked for two days. The place is around 1.2 h drive to Grand Teton National park. But not convenient. A lot of traffic. Rooms are OK but the towels are worn out. The breakfast at this hotel was a major disappointment. The scrambled eggs were watery. Orange and apple juices were filled in two small glass containers and they were empty. Fruit baskets were empty too. No staff to monitor the breakfast room. One toaster was broken."

"When we arrived the foyer was clean and spacious. They were very courteous. However, we had a confirmed room with 2 queen beds and they had given it away, overbooked they said. We got a king. The room was spacious and the bathroom clean but no hot water. The room was clean except for the floor which was sticky. My side light did not work. The Tv did not work. But the next day the housekeeper fixed the light and the tv. That afternoon of the next day we got hot water. The hotel needs updating and they said that would happen within the next year. Built in 1960? The hallway carpets were taped into place. No carpets just hardwood in the rooms. Beds comfy and clean. Breakfast was included and quite good."
