「Very friendly welcome and lovely spacious room. A thermos of fresh milk was ready for us every evening on the reception counter for tea/ coffee in our room the next morning. Breakfast was delicious with excellent selection of fruit, yoghurt, granola and choice of cooked breakfast. The location is excellent too. A short 10 minute walk and you're on the beach at Instow. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. 」

「Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food. Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected. Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus.」

Staff were great especially Lorraine, who gave us a great welcome to the hotel and gave my wife a picture of Elvis when we left, because my wife was wearing an Elvis t-shirt. 「We had a wonderful stay while attending a wedding at watermouth cove. The view from our room was incredible, the room was super spacious and comfortable and the hospitality from Chris including a very hearty and delicious breakfast was superb. It’s also in a beautiful quiet location right next to a cove where you can walk and swim.」

This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good cookes English breakfast and other options available to order, providing a great start to the day. 「Facilities were excellent something for everyone. Plenty of kids entertainment on site and outside. Indoor pool was lovely. The restaurant food and breakfast was very freshly prepared and full of flavour. Great choice! The staff were really welcoming and friendly they made you feel comfortable. I will 100% return due to the above and general location of the hotel a walk away from the beach. Very happy .」
