"It’s absolutely beautiful! We loved our stay. It was my first time there and I wanted to take my mom for a relaxing couple of days. We were celebrating her Birthday! The two ladies at the front were not welcoming at all and also it would be nice to know what was all there. She handed me 2 wrist bands didn’t tell me the floor we were on, where to go, they had a restraunt!! With the amount of money and the fact we drove 6 and half hours to not get a smile and welcome was a little off. We made the absolute best of it at the pool though. The housekeeping was more welcoming than the two receptionist when you first walk into this wonderful place! I’d say work on your front desk staff. We didn’t let it kill our vibe, but it’s going to for sure ruin someone else’s."

"The staff was fantastic and super friendly. I gave it 4-stars because the rooms are dated (sofa very soft, mirror with corrosion, super old stove). The weekend breakfast is "meh" --- just junk food for the masses and only 2 hours a morning. If the hotel was updated it would be fantastic. The bed was very good and my partial ocean view was very good. Much quieter than the "rose" hotel at the other end of the island. Overall, very good experience."

"Could not believe Ambler did not offer rooftop service on Labor Day weekend!! And they did not inform the front desk, they were clueless. Guests had to go all the way down to the bar in their dripping wet bathing suits just to get a cold drink. Such a shame since we picked this hotel specifically so we could order drinks at the pool. What a disappointment for my daughter's birthday!"
