Our family was road tripping up and down the coast of Maine for Spring Break. We splurged on this beautiful home because of it's location and spot on the beach. The Vrbo is on the second floor of a converted century old inn and the host lives on the first floor. There is a separate entrance that leads up the stairs into the home. At the entrance, there is a powder room with the washer and dryer. On the second floor, the main bedroom looks out into the bay and a large deck is accessible both by the main bedroom and the living room.
The smallest room is the kitchen, but since we were road tripping, we did not use the space for cooking. While smaller, everything you could need for cooking was available.
The one day we were there, the weather was very chilly and misty, and we just stayed put, watching the tides and people/dog watched. There are some neighborhood residence who apparently enjoy the polar bear plunge on the daily, and it was amazing watching them take it in 42* water! The views from this location are amazing.
Our host, John was very communicative and kind. He made sure we were comfortable and provided recommendations for us to eat that would work for the adults and the kids.
