This property was terrific! The house was very nice, clean and the proximity to the Notre Dame campus was ideal. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting South Bend.

Amazing location near ND. Property is in average/good shape considering it is a VRBO. Needed additional patio furniture. Alarm information needs to be with the access code. Missing some kitchen kitchen items such as cookie sheets, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

Disappointed

The air conditioning is insufficient for the house. The third floor never got cool while the basement was freezing. The owner didn’t seem to care. It was very difficult to sleep in the heat. There are no fans to help. Also did not care about a plumbing issue with the toilet in the main bathroom upstairs. Side minor issues—needs a new coffee pot, some furniture needs repair, and the trash drawer needs some minor repairs too. On the plus side towels and sheets were good. Location is good. Nice large space.

Wonderful weekend

The home was the perfect lay out for our 4 couples. We each had our own bed and bath to retreat to. This made the long weekend a pleasant stay. You cannot beat the location!!! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Bridget the property host was responsive and helpful. The only drawback was the carpet could use a good cleaning and the outside deck area only had a few chairs to sit and the canvas seats were torn. This being said, we would stay there again!

Excellent stay!

We had a wonderful 2 night weekend summer stay in this lovely home. We traveled as a group of 10 mixed gender friends from Chicago and found the townhome to be comfortable and spacious for our needs. We did not utilize the air mattresses, but the basement couch was large enough to sleep 2 people over 6 ft tall and there was a futon in the basement as well. The bathrooms were all clean and well-stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. All 10 of us were able to comfortably gather in the kitchen as well as in the basement for socializing. We loved that there were 5 bathrooms with 4 showers and enough hot water for everyone! There was just one small hiccup with the door code being incorrect when we first arrived, but Bridget was easy to get a hold of, and gave us the correct information to enter. She was also easy to communicate with both before and during the stay when we had questions. We easily parked 3 cars in the garage and driveway. The home is very centrally located and we had easy access to local spots, chains and groceries. Don't miss the Rise and Roll bakery nearby for the best donuts!

Outstanding property!

My husband and 3 of his associates stayed at this home for 5 nights during the Garth Brooks show at the Notre Dame Stadium in October 2018. The property was clean and well appointed. It had enough hot water for everyone to take a shower before they left for work. We this this was by far one of the best properties and Bridget was one of the most attentive and accommodating managers we have ever met. The only the snafu was the address...the numbers for the address for the homes on both sides of the street are identical. Unless you walk right up to the door and see the street name under the address you are not certain if you are at the correct property. Perhaps an identifying seasonal wreath or seasonal decoration on the front door would be helpful to identify the property. Thank you, Bridget for you prompt attention to our questions and requests. We highly recommend your property to other guests.
