I've stayed here several times and it is good value and in a neighborhood with many motels--Hiltons, Marriotts and so forth. The room is clean, big and nice and the AC, fridge and microwave work well. The internet is good. The parking lot has trash, as usual, but the lawn was cleaner this time as it was being mowed. That said, there are nice properties next door to walk dog. For some reason they always take $20 cash pet deposit you you need to remember to collect it in the morning. Lots of good restaurants just 5 minutes away
Room was nasty, roaches everywhere, dirty sheets, mattress cover was also stained and obviously hadn’t been washed in a while. When we went to get a refund the staff was rude, and gave us a hard time about the refund.
Overall, it was a good stay at this location. The main carpets and steps are old and in need of some minor repairs. The room was excellent, has a very comfy bed and the shower was terrific. The room could use an overhead light over by the desk. And I would ask for an extra blanket.
Parking was plentiful and the lot was clean and in good shape. Both folks at the front desk were polite, professional and helpful. In a good location too as there was a Perkins and a Cracker Barrel within walking distance!
This was my first hotel stay without hair dryers—something I've never had to check for before, as they're typically standard. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of several issues.
The bathroom layout was awkward, with the sink positioned right at the door. The shower was small with insufficient space for toiletries, and I noticed bugs in the bathroom. The bedding had multiple stains on the comforter, which was concerning from a cleanliness standpoint.
Towel quality and quantity were disappointing. There weren't enough provided, and those available smelled stale rather than fresh. They were thin, rough, and dingy—desperately needing a good bleach treatment to restore any sense of cleanliness.
The TV remote didn't function properly. While the front desk showed me how to use it at check-in, I ultimately had to use the manual buttons on the TV itself to change inputs.
The doors are extremely loud and slam shut even when you try to close them gently. While carrying luggage, I couldn't prevent mine from slamming, which resulted in a nearby guest aggressively confronting me at my door, accusing me of deliberately waking them. Despite my explanation, she was incredibly rude, which speaks to the overall guest caliber at this property.
On a positive note, parking was adequate and the air conditioning worked properly.
Overall, between the lack of basic amenities, cleanliness issues, and unpleasant guest interactions, I cannot recommend this property.
