This awesome listing fit the bill perfectly, and allow us to have a private place to retreat to before and after the event. Marlene was the most communicative host I’ve ever had and the property is in fantastic shape.」

「Our stay was wonderful! The place was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and very comfortable. The house is only a couple blocks from the lake, so we walked our dog through the neighborhood daily. Roy was super responsive with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!」

「We rented this house to have a reception after eloping. We had about 20 people come to the party and about 10 spend the night. It turned out to be a perfect option to enjoy our time with family and friends! The booking was easy and all questions were answered before we arrived. The house is clean, a lot of space, and all of our guests were pleased with the accommodations.」

「The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th of July holiday with three other families. We were close enough to amenities if/when we needed them, but had absolutely no reasons to leave the property - so much to do for everyone. The owner was wonderful to engage with, he was even able to supply wheelchair ramps to make the home more assessable for someone in our group who has a disability. We are already talking about booking again next year!」

「This home was very comfortable and clean. The bed was the most comfortable of all the places we stayed. We did have some issues with the hot water but there was a new one waiting to be installed, so they were working on that issue. I would stay there again if we ever wanted to visit again.」

「We had a short trip to leave my grandson at Rockford University. There was a lot of rushing around, back and forth, getting things arranged, but this house provided a lovely respite for us each evening to relax and get good sleep. The owners are very responsive, the kitchen is well-stocked, and everything is well-labeled. Even as modern amenities abound, the house is a beautiful specimen of Victorian architecture. 」
