We loved our stay with Margarite! She was very helpful, welcoming and kind! She helped us navigate the train system and taxis. The room and the area we were in were spotless and charming! What a beautiful B&B Margrita and her husband have created! It’s just outside of the crazy downtown area so you can feel like you’re in the countryside while still being able to walk to everything. Our room was perfect - just as depicted in the photos! Gave us plenty of space to lounge and relax. Margrita gave us some dining recommendations which we absolutely enjoyed. And her breakfast! I’m still talking about how fresh and delicious everything was! We absolutely recommend the MaRio - we had a beautiful stay. Thank you!

Staying with Margarita was the absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, her warm welcome made us feel like we were stepping into a second home. The level of thoughtfulness she provides is unmatched—from the tiny, personal touches in our room to her constant check-ins to ensure we had everything we needed. Every morning began with an incredible breakfast that was clearly prepared with so much love and care. Beyond the hospitality, we felt a deep sense of safety and comfort throughout our stay, allowing us to truly relax. Margarita’s "ultra-care" approach makes her a one-of-a-kind host, and we cannot recommend her enough!

Wonderful Sorrento

Our stay at Mario Relais was perfect. The room was updated, clean and bright. Margrita was an amazing host, from welcoming us upon arrival to her wonderful breakfast. Our stay with her in Sorrento was a highlight of our trip and we will definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay in Sorrento !

Amazing stay at Mario Relais. The owner was really nice and gave me a lot of tips about what to do around Sorrento. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was amazing with good quality products, delicious cheese and fresh tomatoes.

Amazing B&B and even better hostess!

Mario Relais and her amazing host; Margrita made my stay even better than I had hoped. From ‘finding’ me on the street when I thought I was lost (I missed the very clear sign) to a warm greeting, to delicious and fresh breakfast…well I cannot wait to return to Sorrento. It was an easy walk to the historical center and Margrita offered many suggestions on things to do. I would highly recommend this location for any amount of time in beautiful Sorrento.

Margrita is one of the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met. She made my entire family feel like her home was our home. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Everything was within a 10-15 minute walk. She said that she loves what she does, and it shows!

Personal touch and great breakfast

A wonderful stay in Margarita’s beautiful boutique b and b. Superb breakfast served with fresh and with personal care every morning. Fresh caprese salad and croissants with choice of filling and fresh fruit from the tree. Helpful tips and advice for making the most of Sorrento and comfortable air conditioned rooms. Thank you Margrita and family for a beautiful stay.

Such a wonderful B&B. Margrita is an expert hostess who went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. She provided early check-in and also stored by bags for effectively a late checkout. Her home is located in a charming neighborhood away from the touristy center of Sorrento but it is an easy 10 minute walk.

Although my husband and I consider ourselves avid travelers, we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast, until now. This place was an absolute delight. Margrita is a wonderful host: she rose early to pick up our favorite croissants, prepared incredible breakfasts and coffee each morning, and offered thoughtful recommendations as we chatted about the day ahead. The property itself is spotless and incredibly comfortable. It’s close enough to the city center for convenience, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and secluded. We loved enjoying a local beer on the patio, surrounded by lemon trees and the distant sound of church bells. Truly a hidden gem.

We enjoyed our stay at Mario Relais. Margarita is a super host, warm, very friendly and attentive to all our needs and requests. Daily breakfast with freshly baked croissants, caprese salads and toasts are delicious. And she even shared with guests fruits from her garden. Overall a wonderful experience for our first time in Sorrento.
