We had a wonderful stay at this property with the hosts being most accomodating. The property had plenty of space and everything we needed and more. Its nice quiet location allowed for great dog walks but was also close to drive and explore many other interesting locations.
A lovely, peaceful place to stay with everything we needed for our comfort. The host was very helpful and accommodating. A central place for lots of great places to visit.
I stayed here with my wife, son and in-laws for a few days whilst exploring Somerset. It's a lovely rustic cottage in a peaceful countryside location, and plenty of room for us to spread out, and we all really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend to others.
Stunning, private and spacious cottage⦠the owner was amazingly helpful and the cottage surpassed our expectations⦠simply dreamy stay! The only thing we would change would be better quality bed linen and bedding but we understand that that would be expensive, not hypoallergenic - this is not stopping us from going back though and loved every moment of it! Truly relaxing stay in a wonderful location.
We had a great stay whilst exploring Somerset & Dorset and looking for a house to buy. Hosts were very helpful, as lived next door. West Barn accomdation was roomy with great kitchen diner.
Lovely property in a quiet location. Just right for a group of 6 adults (family) to spend some time away. Easy to get to Wells, Glastonbury, Ebbor Gorge and many other places worth visiting.
We had a lovely few days staying at the cottage which was very convenient for local sight seeing. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and lovely large rooms to spend time relaxing as well as enjoying local walks. Would recommend to everyone.
Lovely stay here with peace and quiet and great surroundings for relaxing. Lovely property with lots of spacious rooms and a great sized table and chairs in the kitchen. Really comfy beds and pillows. Great communication with the owner who was super helpful and friendly.

Our Holiday
This property was excellent, it provided everything we needed and more. Michael, our host, was very friendly and helpful. The area was beautiful and very quiet. Communication through Vrbo left a lot to be desired. We had problems accessing the app to find out details which was not the fault of our host Michael.
The cottage is picturesque and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was equipped with everything we needed from cooking equipment and seasonings, to board games, to even feminine hygiene products in the bathroom. It was perfect for our peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!
We loved everything about this property. It was charming, quiet, dog-friendly, comfortable and friendly host. We enjoyed relaxing with a book, walking around the local community, eating out at a great pub within walking distance and visiting Shelton Mallet prison on a rainy day. We would love to revisit and would highly recommend this property to others.
We are originally from England and now live in the USA. We booked this property to gather for a family Christmas as our family is in Somerset. This was a perfect house, I loved everything about it - it was big enough to host 16 people for dinner. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the area so quiet. Thank you Michael for being so helpful you were the perfect host

This place is absolutely beautiful, very charming, but not as clean as I thought it would be, specially kitchen utensils&pots and pans, plus a dirty washing sponge and brush which we did not use and bought our own along with washing up liquid, there was hair stuck on the washing machine and inside it.dining table, stove top... dirty and hair on them. One of the toilets dirty and the fireplace wasn't emptied and was full. Leaving room had a musty and cigarette smell. This was disappointing considering the 120 mentioned for the "house keeping" and cleaning. My first night there was terrible and disturbing ,as I got ready to relax by the fire, someone was at the door with a torch looking inside!!!Very creepy, also this place for some reason doesn't have any curtains!!! Only in the leaving room and blinds in bedrooms, otherwise you are exposed to the outside! Specially considering 2 big glass doors and all the windows in the kitchen . Really didn't made sence! The area is cold and windy too so why no curtains?!The owners hous was next door and they had curtains everywhere.Messaged the owner and asked him if it was him at the door but didn't get the clear answer, as it could have been "the old neighbour who did this every night"(Why?&why should be made feel that uncomfortable?!)"the Amazon guy!"Or"the owner himself turning on his living room lights" No Someone has the torch &was looking inside!very creepy unsettling.would've been nice to meet him specially after that creepy night.
