"The staff at the location were very nice and friendly. The cabins were comfortable and had nice air conditioning, though lots of gaps for mosquitos and other bugs to enter. The term “resort” implies high end accommodations and I would not describe this location as that. This is more like camping in town. "Our stay at Maalu Maalu was excellent. The rooms are well designed for families and the bathroom in particular is huge. The pool area is great with lots of loungers available. The beach is incredible with calm shallow water which is perfect for young children. The breakfast was vast and catered for everyone including an omelette bar which my husband loved."

"We were extremely happy with our 3 nights stay at Gabaa. Staff were superb. All the cabins were hidden amongst the nature, making it must more relaxing and enjoyable. Property was very quiet and had plenty of privacy. Hiruni and Eranda and also everyone else were always available and made our stay memorable. My kids didn’t want to leave the property. Rooms very spacious and AC was worked perfectly. We got some tea and food and they were authentic."

"Sudu Araliya is located on the banks of the Parakrama Samudraya. It’s extensive gardens offer a peaceful place for relaxation. There is a very nice and sturdy tree house with a couple of benches and tables. A lovely place for children to play and adults to relax. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive and our requests were taken care of promptly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with many typical Sri Lankan foods. We only spent one night there but planning to return for a 2-3 night stay. Would definitely recommend staying there."
