「The stay was really nice. We rented the cabin for my boyfriends birthday. It was a total of five of us. We had a nice quiet enjoyable time and the area is great. The cabins decor fit the setting great. I would love to go back and stay at the same cabin. We drove in from Illinois and honestly the drive to the cabin was beautiful, wouldn’t mind doing it again. We plan an ice fishing trip each year with work colleges and this is one of the best layouts we have seen for sleeping 13 people, hanging out in the common area and playing games in the dinner room, proximity to the water, and close to a few more lakes in the area that are good for fishing, there is also a trailhead about 20 min to the west that leads up to Houghton Lake area.
