"This is a very nice property in a quiet neighborhood. The house is warm and inviting, very comfortable. The screened in porch was a selling point for us and our small dog. It may have been the rain but every day there were deer grazing in the yard. The location is near Smith Mountain Lake State Park and access to the home is excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"First, the owners, Kurt and Nancy were very responsive to our questions even before we got to the property, and helpful in every way.The house was tastefully appointed with all the necessary goods needed to make the stay comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.Overall, there is nothing we would have changed."

"The spot on the lake was nice. The house itself was very rustic but clean. The furniture in the family room was new and comfortable. The stairs down to the lake were completely covered in pollen and leaves which was a bit hazardous- recognizing this is in the woods, a sweep every couple weeks at least would be nice. Sadly the water level was so level we couldn't get to the water level dock, but not the house's fault. Fireplace was nice."

"Beautiful home. Beautiful lake view. Very clean house. Property Manager was very attentive. We experienced some problems with the plumbing. Not the fault of the owner/Property Manager...things happen... but it was an issue nonetheless. I have no doubts that the PM will take care of the plumbing issues for the next guests."

"This property was just lovely and peaceful. It was perfect for our group of three couples and one pup. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to easily moor it at the dock. We spent lots of time out on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake but we also enjoyed just hanging out on the deck of the house. We ate outside each day and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner, Leslie, was magnificent - so responsive to our questions and super helpful. I have rented many VRBOs but this owner was a one of a kind! Would highly recommend this property."
