"This cozy little cabin has everything you would need for a fun, comfortable getaway anytime of year. The mid-summer evenings we spent in the expansive, well-maintained backyard were a delight. We'd certainly rent again!!"

"Beautiful home with up to date amenities nestled next to the creek, what a great way to relax! My favorite part was doing nothing. The black sky, the silence, very welcomed. The highlight on our last night was a big black bear in the yard! Would highly recommend!"

"My husband and I wanted to take our grandkids camping, but the thought of us sleeping in a tent was not that appealing to us at our age. The kids ranged from 8-15. We decided to rent this ultra private home on the river. The view was absolutely amazing. The entire area was beautiful. The house was also beautiful inside. It has an open floor plan with the bathroom being the only room with a door. It was large enough and spread out enough that we had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was full of dishes, pots, pans, and everything we needed. We had forgotten ketchup, and there was even a new bottle of ketchup in a cupboard. It seems the owner had thought of everything! There was a large TV with a selection of videos. The home was very clean and comfortable. There was a canoe to use as well. My husband and grandkids really enjoyed fishing. We brought games to play, but found that there was a lot of games already there. I saw some games for younger kids, but we didn't really go through them so I can't say what other games there are for and older group. We had fires and overall a fantastic time together. There was a pizza shop and Dollar General 15 minutes away. We got pizza one of the nights and everyone loved it. No one wanted to leave. We've already reserved dates in October. I'm betting the fall foliage is stunning there. We are really looking forward to going back! Thank you, Rocco!!"

"The cottage was very nice and the area is simply beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately we were not given the correct check in code but the owner was responsive to our calls and we were able to get into the cottage a short time later with the correct code. We would stay again!"

"The place was beautiful , BUT the no AC in July definitely took a toll on us. They CLEARLY stated that there was no AC in the house on the listing. This was not a surprise. I just assumed that with no AC the house stayed reasonably cool and wasn’t needed. That unfortunately wasn’t the case. The house was incredibly hot and we really struggled to get any Airflow through the house. I think some screens on the double sliding doors would really help with that. Given that we saw a black bear on the drive in, and there are obviously a lot of bugs in nature, we didn’t want to just leave the doors wide open with no screen. It was so hot the second night, we had to sleep in the basement on chairs and couches. It was a little rough. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews because the hosts were awesome and they really took care of the house, it was amazing! I just personally wouldn’t go back in summer for the reasons I listed above. I would absolutely, 100%, rent this house again in the fall, winter or spring. You wouldn’t even need to go to Cherry Springs, the views from the deck were breathtaking on their own!! Again, I hate to leave something “negative” about the house when the hosts so clearly put their heart and soul into it. I just also want to prepare people if they’re going there in summer. It’s no joke, that’s all. Thank you Ben for sharing your home with us and all future travelers, enjoy, the house is incredible!!"
