Beautiful scenery/area.
Beautiful scenery/area. Take basic groceries as shop is about 1hr away. Advertised pictures are out of date as not actually the same as what's in cottage. The kitchen cutlery pots pans ought to be replaced ASAP Telling clients to have left by 9am on leaving day is unacceptable but not Advertised, nor entry until 5.30pm on start day. Iv never had to strip beds & other linen when staying away, so we came home late the night b4. Overall we enjoyed our stay & lots of sunshine.

Fantastic cottage in the heart of Halton Gill.
Fantastic cottage in the heart of Halton Gill. Situated a little drive away from settle and near the three peaks (which is why we booked it in the first place!) about 20 minutes to Horton in Ribblesdale which was fantastic. The cottage itself is lovely, clean and quiet! I loved looking out over the hills as there is views from every window and even better hearing the sheep in the garden. The owners of the cottage are so attentive, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again, plan to next year!! Thank you both for being lovely hosts.

A very nice welcome for all including our little dog.
A very nice welcome for all including our little dog. Jug of milk, fresh eggs from the chickens, apples and plums from the garden. Very nice owners and lovely scenery with plenty of walking nearby. Local towns have most of what you want as it is like it used to be years ago. Makes you think about what has been lost in many places by the need to modernise and keep up to date. Telephone boxes still have phones in them as there is not always good signal for mobiles. Petrol stations and shops are not always on your doorstep so it makes you think more and enjoy this area much more.

Excellent homely cottage with everything you could want, which is important because you are 20 minutes drive from shops. Lovely rural setting on working sheep farm with border collies. Off road parking. Big views from windows. Not pokey. Beautiful high level drive into Settle. Delightful hosts live in same building.

the owners of Halton Gill were amazing they took us in, very last minute literally within 30 mins of us being stranded by a double booking error. the place was lovely perfect for our stay. the dog was extremely welcomed.
the property was very clean and warm we had lovely views across the hills...the place was just perfect location wise and the hosts were extremely welcoming...they were actually going away but nothing was too much trouble.
would absolutely recomend a stay here
the local pub was very friendly we did eat there but were disappointed in the food although plenty of it just no flavour, but was very busy so may have been a one off.
the waterfalls are a must see !!!
