「It was a nice place to take refuge after a lot of driving on a rainy day. It used to be a school, it was fun to see the old pictures. The staff was very helpful. It was convenient to have the restaurant right there. Breakfast was also very nice.」

「We had a great stay at Dettifoss. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The kitchen was in good condition and well-equipped for most simple meals; however, it was a bit small for the number of guests that were there. Free coffee and tea was available as well. There was plenty of parking, and the self check-in was easy.」

「Loved staying here! Just 8 min drive into Husavik, clean and comfy rooms, great breakfast, lovely staff. It's also a place you can do horseback riding tours. We didn't have time, but if I find myself there again I will book one!」
