The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food. 「Kumara and his family looked after me with incredible generosity. I was provided a room with a bathroom. They fed me incredible breakfast and dinner each day and even showed me how to cook using the traditional Sri Lankan methods. It can be hard to find, as it is down a dirt road, but it was only 5 minutes from Sigiriya Rock. Pidarangala and Minneriya National Park are also very close. Kumara is also a tuk tuk driver, so he can take you around (I already had a driver for the entire holiday, so...

「Excellent stay in a lovely setting with swimming pool and nature pond. Clean and comfortable room with AC and WiFi. Lovely local breakfast provided each morning. Within walking distance to local restaurants or transport readily available if required. I also walked to Sigiriya Rock from the resort as it was close by. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful organising a trip to Dambulla and also to Pidurangala Rock for sunrise which were awesome. Overall I had a lovely stay and felt very...
